    I have a AWO2 and it is the best alto saxophone I have played so far. I have normal sized palms but small hands and the keywork fit my hands perfectly. I have only had mine for a month but I had to get the neck recorked to fit my mouthpieces but other that was it. WHile there is more of a resistance and I do feel it, the sound seemed immediate and I didn;t have much issues when playing a low Bb which I sometimes have issues getting getting out cleanly. The sound to me was cantered, warm and mellow but it projects very well and it stays in tune easily. It has solid, amazing build quality and I could not fault it at all besides the neck cork being too thick. I upgraded from a Yamaha YAS-280 after playing for around 2 years and 8 months and couldn't be happier. Its a bit heavier than the Yamaha is, but the YAS-280 is light for an alto sax.

      It all depends on what you prefer it’s too hard to say one is better then another for a certain genre of music.

    No mention of the C#-B linkage. Wonder if you find that to be beneficial or just hype?

      It’s great, very helpful for chromatic passages.

    In Ireland we call them WO1 ,WO10, & WO20 but in OZZ some twats call them the WOOs here we see a twat at 3:40 put in his place "Nice"

    Is aw020 better than aw02 for classical music. For sheet music like perfect by ed sheeran which sax would better to play on.

    Yanagisawa doesn’t make student or intermediate horns. So please pass on correct information. Yanagisawa only makes pro horns and the W01 series is their entry level pro horn. And it’s not WO it’s W zero 1

    • @jazztime4
      @jazztime4 9 месяцев назад

      No, that’s incorrect. That’s an O after the W, not the number zero. You’re right, though, that Yanagisawa only makes professional saxophones. I’m lucky to be able to play one professionally!🎷

    Add the WO20 is expensive $ almost $9000 CDN$. Is it worth it to get a "bronze" sax?

    • @Samuel-ge7im
      @Samuel-ge7im 3 года назад

      It all depends on what you prefer, I’d recommend playing both the Wo10 and 20 to really see what you like.

    I love the sound of the W010 can’t understand why the price difference from the w020

    • @Samuel-ge7im
      @Samuel-ge7im 3 года назад

      The Wo20 is constructed of bronze which is more expensive then the Wo10 which is constructed from brass.

    This guy has no clue first of all it’s a w-o not wo. And yanagisawa doesn’t make student instruments. They only make professional saxophones
