Well, here we go again! This video is more like my older style content. The last few videos I've been working a lot harder on them and they end up taking a month to produce and release, they do generally very well but I think I want to lean back into the direction of my older style content again, which is commentary videos like this about topics I have a passion for that I can release to the channel 2 or 3 times per week.
What would you guys prefer?
This style of Commentary content (2-3 loads per week)
Fast-paced MOC content (1 upload per month)

LEGO would make a fuckin killing if they did a CMF line. Old Republic, Republic Commando, Mandalorians maybe a RoTJ Boba and an updated Jango, Clones mainly referring to named Clones like ARC Jessie, or ARC Echo, Dogma etc.
They make even more of a killing if they throw them into the odd set now.
50% would be sequels

20% prequels
2 clones at most
@@LemonAid_osc Lego haven’t made a stud from the sequels in years, they don’t sell. How many clones have been released this year?
@LemonAid_osc Dude, Clone sets are doing super well and they've barely touched the Sequels in forever compared to OT, PT and D+ shows.
if you want the old republic era or republic commando then it'd have to be a legends cmf line. which i'd prefer over anything else. the darth malak figure seems to be a success and there is clearly a demand for legends minifigures
Most modern Lego Star Wars collectors are more interested in the minifigures than the builds, for example, people paid $600 for phase 2 captain Rex with the UCS venator, so ya, Lego is never gonna do a CMF line when people will buy Darth Malak for $100 with an R2-D2 side build.
Glad you're back making videos! I'd love a Star Wars CMF series . . . but it probably wouldn't matter as I can barely find the CMF's in stores as it is, LOL.
Also let's not forget that CMFs are mystery boxs which helps discount the price it's random and you are incentvised to get them all... Which people do hate as it's a form of gambling... So in theory adding a CMF like figure to a normal set as "free" is way more partible to everyone then a mystery box even if it's cheaper.
I'm not shocked that it's all about money with Lego. The cost of Lego has sky rocketed in the past 10 years yet the parts are made by robots. I have deliberately not bought Lego just for the minifigs and only by the sets I like. Great video and great easy to understand explanation as to why Lego does this.
The only set I recently got for a minifig was a microfighter.

I can see them doing a similar thing with Marvel and making series for Disney+. Not likely knowing Lego but a man can dream😢
All of these 25th anniversary characters are known or named characters. Why couldn't they do various unnamed, background, or original characters? I'm sure there are many who would love the ability to expand the cast of their builds outside of the main cast.

youre forgetting a key factor which is the mystery, when you buy for say the r2d2, you get it for sure but typical cmf have like 15 minifigures, which statistically yields higher profit because you might not get what you want
I belive lego hasnt made a cmf starwars wave because they know we will still buy starwars sets because they aren't desperate for more starwars sales
I mean the 25th anniversary minifigures are one off's that lego clearly said wouldn't be made other wise (not to mention we are getting like 6 of them, the aren't here to stay), and if lego could make a cmf they would have since they could make so many niche characters that people want and lego doesn't want to make (most named clones, and smaller characters), and you can bet that a star wars cmf would cost like 7-10$ as it was with the Solo Polybag minifigures

Lego should get the rights and do a Series Star Wars Lego minifigures. I say this on behalf of all Lego and Star Wars fans. Love to get minifigs of Anakin with Nelvaan tattoos. Jedi Temple Guard. Imperial Dewth Star Gunner. Mara Jade. Bastilla Shan etc. Better than buying a really expensive Lego Star Wars set.

Yeah you bring up an interesting topics with theses magazines only available in Germany or Denmark. It's very annoying we don't get nothing back here.
Another arguement, Lego is made for kids (aside from the adult sections,) kids like star wars because of the cool spaceships and battles, they do not care as much about the minifigures, therefore Lego would carry on making playsets

Lego: just make minifigures that HAVEN"T been made for the CMF series.
They'll never do one as they can't charge £10 per figure. Bung them in a set with minimal bricks however and bob's yer uncle

It's an evil world we live in. If Lego gate keeps the SW CMF because they know they can make more money out of us whilst raking in billions that's far from fan service.

Lego Star Wars set are extremely expensive for 2 reasons. 1 they got make a profit, and that’s how buisness’s function. 2 They pay for licensing and have to pay the actors they’re making in Lego, that’s the reason why sets are expensive now. And they have pay each actor they would recreate in this cmf, and 5$ would not turn a profit with having to pay actors. Honestly if they could they probaly would make Star Wars cmf figs, appealing to their fans is how lego has been in buisness for years.
Who says they have to pay many actors. If they did a clown CMF they would only have to pay 1

Just be a set fan not a minifigure fan and your problems are all solved, the minifigures all end up missing anyway.
super easy ,hasbro owns star wars figures right ,they can make sets WITH figures but can't sell singles figures.the polybags with 1 figures aren't sold ,they are given away as part of promotion.
Lego Star Wars advent calendars make up for lack of cmfs.🤭
Ummm not rlly. Mostly the figs in those advent calendars are figs that have already been in sets released earlier of each of those respected years. Or characters with Christmas crap on them like sweaters or a Santa hat. Not rlly special or eye catching with them
@@Legendzzz-nc9wb sorry I’m Canadian so when I use heavy sarcasm it goes unnoticed. Advents may have a cute couple of figs each year but you can always count on them to be underwhelming 🤠
