Just watched the movie for the first time and immediately had to google it to see this last scene again. Amazing, the most beautiful scene I've ever watched. Eerie, surreal, sad, there's something that brings David Lynch in mind. Coffee and Cigarettes, along with Limits of Control, must be one of the most genius works in the history of cinematography.

Through mutual friends I had the great pleasure of befriending Taylor while I lived in the East Village from 2009-2011. He was such a personality, and a crazy nut in the best ways possible, and no one has, or had, a voice so perfectly fitting for one who’s life revolved around poetry as Taylor. And what a slob he was, but somehow it all lended to his uniqueness. The whole of the Lower East Village loved, and adored him, and as crass as he was, he was immensely charming. Watching this again, I can’t help but cry a bit while I’m reminded of just how much I miss him, and his voice. RIP Young Man!
