Nice one. I wonder if it makes sense to prime and paint the rusted body area before installing the new plate, or will be a bit overkill? Looks like a poorly maintained fairly new machine, or it's just me...Had a 24" Troy myself, but returned and replaced with a Toro after 2 days (the engine was stalling out of the box). Never thought about using a level to adjust, great idea!

Has the appearance of mtd some people raise the skids so it gets the snow completely down to the surface
