So many people there that are changing the image of Pakistan one video at a time. We have been led to believe Pakistan was not like this. Respect to your nation my friend.

I know this video is from a while ago but I really want to provide backstory about the beautiful story the barber is telling at 2:40. He’s recalling a famous story about Imam Ali (as), a man who’s very dear to us especially as Shia Muslims since we believe he’s the first caliph of the Muslims after the prophet. In this historical incident Imam Ali fights a warrior and enemy of Islam named Amr ibn Abd al-Wud. They fight each other, and Imam Ali gets Amr to the ground and right before killing him, the man spits in his face. Imam Ali (as) then walks away without finishing the man off on the floor. When asked about why he didn’t kill him, Imam Ali said everything he did up until that point was for the sake of God and for the religion of Islam, but once that man spat in his face he would have killed him out of anger not for the sake of God. Rumi the famous Sufi poet also talks about his story extensively and it’s really beautiful showing the patience of our master Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) and the beauty of our religion❤
