      Thanks. Always a bit quiet between the November shows (EICMA, Motorcycle Live…) and January, when the new bikes begin to arrive in dealers. Happy Christmas👍😊

    Nice, the little gap is probably to pressurise the air flowing through and therefore deflecting it more like the giving airflow screens do

    Its always nice when a relatively inexpensive accessory works as designed. Happy Holidays, RM!

    Deflectors not avaliable in the UK at the moment☹. I would add to your list of requirments before I would up grade to a new ADV 350. Get rid of the keyless system, I had my one changed in less than a year under warrenty and if I had to pay for it the dealer said it would be close to £1900 with parts an labour.
    At the moment if it should stop working again and I would have to pay, my scooter would be a rightoff. SYM and Kymco now have on their new large scooters a Keyless system with an emergancy key that is built into the key fob that can be used in the event that the system can't read the fob and can be used instead of the fob if you want.

    • @RocketMan_Moto
      @RocketMan_Moto  16 дней назад

      Yes, keyless can be a liability. No problems with mine so far (touch wood…), but I do have to change the battery in the key every 6 months or so🙄

    I will first buy the deflectors and then somwhere in the future the adv350.

    This is a great solution to one of the ADV350's shortcomings. I sold my ADV 350 last year because of this shortcoming and the annoying noise from the transmission.

    • @RocketMan_Moto
      @RocketMan_Moto  13 дней назад

      Yes, they’ve sorted the wind now, but the transmission noise is still just as annoying🙁

    For what it's worth, I also really like the way it looks.

    ................nice 'extra', had my ADV still been with me i would have followed your actions, thank you for the tip! However, even though i lined the outside of the under seat box with noise attenuating foam and wrapped the exhaust in tape, the general noise so got to me it had to go! Nicely replaced though by a burbling in-line 650 twin which unlike the ADV, can seriously shock with acceleration noise but then cruise at 70 at a purr!

    • @RocketMan_Moto
      @RocketMan_Moto  17 дней назад

      I agree, it makes a horrid noise. Very practical, though, and the perfect complement to the Tiger 900😊

    Thanks for this one RM. Unrelated: is there any chance for you to test the Suzuki GSX S1000 GX? I’m interested about your opinion. Thanks!

    How does the adv350 compare to the sh350 ? Is the suspension more comfortable ? Marginally or significantly?

    • @RocketMan_Moto
      @RocketMan_Moto  7 дней назад +1

      I haven’t ridden the SH. The ADV’s suspension is quite crashy, though🙁

    I have a PCX from the same vintage and I have the same gripe. I notice in the 2025 model they have reduced how much this is cut out. I was thinking exactly about something like this on my early morning drive to Valencia last week. If anyone has a good website for Honda parts, please reply.

    Hi, I heard rumours about a 500cc Honda scooter. Have you heard anything?

    • @RocketMan_Moto
      @RocketMan_Moto  16 дней назад +2

      I heard that too a few months ago, but so far nothing. I wish they would give us a 500 with around 45-50hp🤞

  • @papertiger795

    I want an ADV 350, but all we're allowed here in the States is a 160.
    Why does Honda (wait, no... All the Japanese manufacturers) hate us over here? We like buying cool things too. And we like bikes that aren't black on black as well. The Germans and Austrians dont seem to mind giving us options... It can be done.

    • @RocketMan_Moto
      @RocketMan_Moto  15 дней назад +1

      It must be frustrating, but on the upside cars & bikes (and the fuel to run them) are MUCH cheaper than here in Europe😊

    • @papertiger795
      @papertiger795 14 дней назад

      @RocketMan_Moto very true. For that I'm grateful.
      But maybe you should get the 160, and we get the 350 then...
