The first game had a horrible lobby system for multiplayer and you basically had to keep searching for empty lobbies for like half an hour if you're trying to play it with a group of friends.. have they improved on that?

I have a question. If the game fully drops and you purchase the legendary edition, will the three days of early access thing still apply?
the 3 days of early access is starting 12 am your time on 16th, so you can purchase it and access the game depending on your region

They now have a party system for private lobbies, so yes.
