      @Froot-TCG haha, me to. It may also worth mentioning that its a waste of dust to craft cards that rotate in less than 2months. And that disenchanting cards that rotate can be a source of dust if you dont want to play wild

      I get the sense that a lot of new or returning players are finding your content especially helpful, so I think these kind of videos could be really appreciated. Personally I’d be keen to even have videos on: if and how to use a deck tracker, how to build good/fun decks, decks for wild, whats worth crafting/buying/spending gold or money on and so on :)

      Another helpful keyword is "refund" when cards are changed. This will highlight all the cards that you can get a full dust refund on.

    It does look hopeless but if you get legend every month, play the weekly tavern brawl and do daily quests you are granted to have at least 75% of the 3 expansions every year. After a year doing so, specially after rotations, decks will feel much more cheaper since you´ve got the latest dlc´s

    • @Froot-TCG
      @Froot-TCG  13 дней назад +1

      It is certainly a grind for newer players, but it is impressive how much free stuff you get every week if you maximize your gold/dust.

    • @rltt379
      @rltt379 10 дней назад

      no once have I felt inclined to climb to legend. The game just isn't that fun if trying fun decks is considered a luxury

    • @Garueri
      @Garueri 10 дней назад +2

      @rltt379 thing is, you can try 2 fun decks per season as a new player, 6 as a old player and all as a wallet player. So yeah, you gotta weight how valuable your time and the game are. If you’re good at arena though you can break the economy. In the past we could also afk farm which meant 20k per season easy but they patched it

  • @fishfleas
    @fishfleas 14 дней назад +3

    I’ve been playing Free for years. I approach the quests differently. I only have so much t8me, so completing quests does more than not completing them. So I discard quests that don’t line up with other quests. I also keep any quest that can be completed with battlegrounds. I purchase about 100 packs each release with gold. I dust extras when I feel like it. After I buy about 100 packs I stop and save for mini set. Buy it with gold then sav3 for next expansion. I then dust rotated sets and use that to fill in collection for decks.

    • @KnownAsKenji
      @KnownAsKenji 13 дней назад +1

      Yeah, that's good enough, the general goal is to get Level 100 on the Rewards Track because that's where the most Gold is, which isn't too hard to do. As long as you get there, you can afford to slack off a bit, the actual Gold you earn from maximizing XP gain past 100 is pretty tiny.

    • @Froot-TCG
      @Froot-TCG  13 дней назад

      That is a great approach! The worst thing you can do is not complete your weekly/daily quests, so rerolling them to save time makes sense if you have very limited time.

    • @fishfleas
      @fishfleas 13 дней назад +1

      @@Froot-TCG Back when the quests were faster to complete, I did keep the higher pay outs but also balanced it with what I knew I could complete easily. However since they went back to making them take longer again, I have gone back to stacking similar ones to improve completion efficiency.

    So, you don't get a guaranteed amount of dust for a chance to get a random amount of dust at some maybe future date if the nerf a card. They don't perform that many cards and they don't do it too often. You're saving for a fraction of dust that may never happen.

    • @Froot-TCG
      @Froot-TCG  12 дней назад +2

      With how frequently they have been doing card changes recently, this manual strategy produces quite a bit more dust.

    • @vettechdave
      @vettechdave 12 дней назад +1

      @Froot-TCG sure, but what's the amount of cards you don't dust vs the amount of cards they nerf? You hold on to 100 cards, they nerf 4. You get more dust for those 4, but you have 96 cards you essentially bet 0 dust for. I admit I haven't ran the numbers and I'm only going off my perception, which may be off. Maybe it's more than I realize.

    • @davidlovesyeshua
      @davidlovesyeshua 10 дней назад

      You still dust those cards eventually, either at rotation or after it’s been long enough and they just don’t seem like plausible future nerf targets.

    • @Froot-TCG
      @Froot-TCG  11 дней назад

      @eugenelee7008 I usually don't suggest disenchanting legendaries but if you are in desperate need of dust, I would prioritize dusting legendaries from sets you don't plan on opening again.

    old player here, I hate this rigged pay to win game so much, honestly don't care if they dusted everything, each new set basically does that anyways, and if you're a budget player, enjoy being under the thumb of pay to wins. Also notice how they will get perfect card spread all game long while your deck looks like its running backwards. Great info if you're a homeless person begging for change at a casino that's set up against you.

    this is great until you see on sites like HSreplay that any good decks for climbing cost you like 2k+ in dust to build and youve no more cards to disenchant so youre sitting there with your avg ele mage deck that isnt getting you past gold 5. couldnt be me. also, arena is wayyy too difficult for avg HS players that it is ultimately a waste to play it unless they just want one "running".

    • @Froot-TCG
      @Froot-TCG  10 дней назад +1

      It is definitely a grind at the beginning, but it is surprising how well these more budget friendly decks, like elemental mage, can perform.

    BZZZZZZZ wrong.If you sit there and wait.....and wait ...and wait for a card or few to get refunded you will NOT be playing with any meaningful cards.Blizzard has the last few years ramped up the power level of each release/mini set to force people to spend or be left behind this mention of WAITING will leave you far behind.
    What you should say is that this is an option to a MUCH much future reward but you will be struggling badly to have ANY chance at getting 1600 dust cards that you WILL need.
    As to oracle that has been such a cry baby card by so many content creators and it is NOT a bad card what so ever.There are many broken one turn cards in this game and we are about to get several more in the mini set.If IH ad to guess a number I would say there will soon be about 50+ cards I would nerf before even worrying about Oracle.
    The whole topic of dust proves how scummy Blizzard is you do not own ANY of the cards they are not even your cards they are Blizzard's all of them.This is why the game is f2p with a cash shop becuase Blizzard's ONLY obligation is to deliver the cash shop purchase after than they could shut the game down tomorrow and you will have nothing.
    So setting the ground work for the scummy game design they still try to rip you off with dust giving back pittiful returns while real TCG's example MTG NOT MTGA allows you to own and sell your cards.MTGA went this same Blizzard route becuase digital costs them pennies to deliver and to operate they make loads of money selling DIGITAL item licenses.
    long story short scumbag Blizzard SHOULD be offering FULL dust refunds since they are worthless digital items anyhow.
