  • Race 4 and 5 from the cockpit of the mini. I started the meeting from P23 after missing qualifying, and slowly made my way to P10 by the end of the weekend. The car ran perfectly thanks to Jason Armstrong's engine build (Dave Armstrong Motors). I struggled getting 3rd gear which cost me places at times but all great experience for this newbie racer. Lots to learn still!

I am not sure I know anyone that races cars and is also an avid scuba diver. It is an interesting combination. I think I would have to go for a dive just to relax after a race like that.

In a past life I drove minis in club events and this brings back very fond memories. I'm intrigued by what the phone on the dash is displaying? Is it lap/delta times?

Yes it's an app called Race Chrono. Provides quite a lot of data to lookl at afterwards as well.
