- Ghosts of Gettysburg Book Author Mark Nesbitt is joined by his wife Carol and Kayla Miner at East Cavalry Battlefield at Gettysburg. This series is based upon a blog series called the Hidden Haunted Hotspots of Gettysburg, today we are doing a mini investigation at the East Cavalry Field section of the battlefield.
During this investigation Mark Nesbitt gives a history of the area before bringing medium Kayla Miner and Carol Nesbitt along to conduct a small investigation to see what we discover. Does the history line up with the findings? Find out by watching it here.
I have absolutely no confidence in pendulums as a device in paranormal research. It takes very little movement from the person holding it, to influence the movement of the pendulum. On top of that there is a pretty good breeze blowing, which will cause it to move as well.
Agreed... pendulums are the most lousy of investigative tools.
It's fake
I'm sure she is not trying to do so, but Carol's hand is moving slightly. I don't trust this type of detection; it's just too easy to unintentionally manipulate it.
That and she is rubbing the chain or string with her thumb if you watch closely. I don’t believe in these practices 🤷♂️
@@melvinganoe1175 , I agree.
Mark Nexbitt! Excellent as usual. Listen to HIM. He knows his stuff.
Gen. Hampton died in 1902, so not sure why he would hang around Gettysburg and not the many other battles he participated in. But, who knows how this works in the spirit realm.
Great stuff !! Very enthralling ! I wished the ladies carried on a little more decorum with these departed souls - as in thanking them and being more deferent as I have seen others do !!
Excited to be coming back to Gettysburg this year, hopefully the pandemic will be a memory. Great video y'all.
Love your books! To the best of my knowledge I have all of them. Wanted to see if there was more material from you and here I am, once again not disappointed 👍
Sir I love you so much and I love your wonderful books 📚 and I love your wonderful videos 💞.
Thank you for sharing this with us. I did miss my annual trip to Gettysburg in July 2020 due to the virus travel restrictions. Let's hope 2021 is better!
Mark i came out there with lake Villa elementary School in 93 and 94. I came as a student, and the following year as a mentor. I watched you tell the ghost stories in one of the sale shops on the strip in Gettysburg. Some of my most profound memories were there. The night hikes. One of them was powers hill, and the tale of the lone cannon gunner. I got to sit on the cannon which was special; the rest of the kids got spread around the hill as we stood silent individually, to fully grasp the feeling.
Oh, skirmishes happened at Gettysburg? Glad the ghost cleared that one up for us all!
🤣🤣🤣🤣 made my day reading this
You are all awesome.
They're referring to Miller as a General (or as they conveyed to him), when he was in fact, a Captain who disobeyed orders to hold his position and chose to charge his small Union Cav Regiment into the flank of a Confederate regiment which sent the Rebels into chaos, causing them to fall back to protect their line of retreat. For his actions, Captain Miller received the Congressional Medal of Honor for his actions.
Great spot ! Custers support spot ! Always stuff going on in that vicinity... Hope all is well Mark... Will be back in Gettysburg soon..
Awesome! So exited for more videos hopefully!
Liked and subscribed great videos
I've heard that the are where the railroad cut crosses Willoughby run is "haunted". Lot's of strange lights etc. It also borders on private property which I find interesting.
Well done! Looking forward to the rest.
We used to do that with a needle. My Dad said make a tripod out of tree branches tie it together at the top the separate the legs and it will stand alone. Tie the needle and string to the tripod do the needle hangs in the middle. Then ask it a question. That damn thing never moved.😆
Mr. Nesbit, I'm not sure how to get a hold of you, but I lived and worked in Gettysburg in 2003, I have 2 stories I would really like to tell you.
Absolutely fascinating!
mark back in 2004 i believe, i captured some great pictures of orbs at the virginia monument. these pictures i took on a Panasonic digital camera. i magnified the photos and each one showed a face of a soldier bust up. i couldnt believe my eyes . i made a believer out of my wife. i sent this info to Rick fisher of the pa. ghost hunters and he said he would forward it to you. did you ever receive the info?
the wind is not helping either.. it could be the wind answering them
Reverent fields,
The fields that once were green and lush,
Now bear the scars of war.
The beauty of the countryside,
Is marred forevermore.
The meadows, woods and cornfields,
Once serene and calm and still.
Echo eerie cries of pain,
The agonizing howling shrill.
Two armies clash, their rifles flash,
Cannon fills the den with doom.
The hot lead flies, the panicked cries,
The orchestra of death sings out her tune.
It don’t seem right, Hell should have itself,
Uprooted from below.
Once so heavenly, where now the devil stands,
Warm blood begins to flow.
The two sides hurl into a single swarm,
Of humanity, in flight.
To escape their genocidal fate,
A mangled, wicked site.
The corpses litter all around,
In thousands of ghastly poses.
Horrific, wild expressions,
Now contort their mouths and noses.
A pocket watch clicking and every second ticking,
Marks the time of postmortem for the scored.
One American fell for every single second on the day,
The battle of Antietam roared.
The battlefield’s now hallowed ground,
Where residual hauntings last.
A time where death and dreams replay,
A record of its past.
Pendulum is more a visual if you watch them, they are getting visions and hearing the answers.
I absolutely heard the second EVP as a defeat that was actually pretty damn clear
but we were camped out there at the rummel farm in 2010.. and i have a picture of some weird things
I read that Major General Issac R. Trimble didn’t die at The Daniel Lady Farm. In fact, he outlived the War, and died in 1888. So, I don’t know who Psychic Laine Crosby was talking with in the corner of The Parlor at The Daniel Lady Farm.
Herself...
Mark, have you ever gotten to the 1st Minnesota monument and talked to some of them?
My kids and I did a ghost tour using those things you try and find water with..it was hilarious even they thought it was hokey.
But the best was at the bridge where they put a cigarette on a metal rail and had us watch as the ghost smoked it..The next group did the same..😂Those ghosties liked their smokes.I have never seen or heard anything and I live there.Ride bike there often..It's a place for reflection and honor...Totally tragic.I can't imagine all they went through
Well done all around.
The biggest load of blocks I've ever watched the big with the Crystal with the strong wind and the woman in the purple flexing muscles in her hand to make the Crystal plumb Bob move
I can see the energy is heavy. real heavy.
Great video thank you
Why is Custer not at Little Big Horn where he died.
Surely to be a valid experiment using a pendulum there needs to not be a breeze?
I have had experiences at Gettysburg many years ago I am a Confederate rennactor myself and walked up culps hill heard a guttural groans not growls but groan suspect it to be a dying soldier from bleeding out not sure if he was Confederate or union but I wasn't afraid I was in Confederate uniform when all this happened am going back this October 2024 as a plan
I have some experiences in Gettysburg that may be interesting to you, Mark. I’ll write you an email or a letter soon and send it to you possibly there are stories similar to mine.
I wish I had a ghost box
Gregg and Custer were outnumbered by Stuart.
The wind is blowing so how do we know that the wind is not making it move or her fingers
33:15 sounds a little bit like he’s saying “because” or “just because” not entirely sure though
Why was Custer there he died at the Little Big Horn in 1876.
Maybe because he was the cavalry hero at Gettysburg. Who knows???
C'mon you Wolverines!
This two ladies oh my god get a grip of yourself really I don't even know what you're doing I like it like Mark I like Mark does good things and and he's a good Ghost Hunter but these two ladies got to go
As soon as these ladies appear in the video, hearing their bs, I was done then..😅
Are you going to just tie that onto a stable hanging point paaalease
4:41 4:50
Why do you insult people? By saying getting hit in the head with shrapnel. Could’ve been a pleasant way
Most paranormal events are aural.
Your hand is moving, ergo the pendulum is moving. No such thing as shrap metal. It is shrapnel.
You have blown your credibility.
Con artists.....
