    The gospel is so simple🤦🏽‍♀️ I don’t understand why people complicate it..I’m so happy I found your channel without it I would still be lost, I was deceived by believing ROYS, and all that other garbage. When I started watching you and two others I realized all I needed to do was trust what Jesus has already done to save me and ever since I started thinking that way I’ve had a peace of mind..and I tell this testimony often because salvation is just that simple..going to heaven isn’t hard..so thank you so much for preaching truth💕🫶🏽! Have a good weekend everyone!! And today is my 17th birthday!!

    Brother, excellent teaching regarding loss of reward, NOT loss of salvation, as that is not possible when one is a born again believer and thus sealed by the Holy Spirit per Ephesians 4:30 and Eph. 1:13. It says (paraphrased) that after hearing the Gospel, the Word of truth, and believing and trusting in Christ, one is SEALED with the HOLY SPIRIT of promise. One then cannot lose their salvation once they're sealed per John 10:28-29: (Jesus speaking) ...."no man can pluck them out of my hand." God sees the heart, and if a person is not sincere and changes his mind, he was probably never actually a believer in the first place so was never in God's hand and sealed. People need to understand the difference between getting saved, be born again, salvation, eternal life in Heaven and heavenly rewards because getting saved, be born again, salvation and everlasting life are received by believing the gospel (The Death, Burial And Resurrection Of Our Lord Jesus Christ) but heavenly rewards is achieved or earned by being in our good behaviour, obeying the 10 commandments of God, repenting of our sins aka turning away from our sins, giving our lives to the Lord Jesus Christ, preaching the gospel to people on how to spend eternity in Heaven (Eternal Happiness) which is called soul-winning.

    One thing I struggle getting is...Heaven is a place with no pain no tears. Its a place where we have perfect bodies. Righteous just as Jesus. What would be the purpose of the rewards? If you are perfectly content and happy in Heaven why would rewards matter? Not saying they dont matter. Just saying thats something I dont understand.

    • @CJ-lr4uq
      @CJ-lr4uq Год назад +5

      Hey man, my understanding is this: Any rewards received will be cast at the feet of Jesus and all glory will be given to Him. Our rewards are just further iterations to us of God's goodness, and all will be part of the cumulative joy that we share in eternity.
      So I don't look at it as if some of us will have "more rewards" than others and therefore will be held in higher esteem, nor will there be greater joy or satisfaction for some than others. It all comes back to Jesus in the end.

    • @xmi11
      @xmi11 Год назад +2

      Rewards will be in the form of how large your dwelling place will be, how close you are to the throne in worship, and such. @@CJ-lr4uq well my opinion is this, I don't think we will all be equal in heaven (I stand to be corrected if am wrong) in matthew 11:11 scripture says that among those born of women none is greater than John the baptist yet the one who is LEAST in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.
      Also matthew 5:19-20 does allude to the fact that there are hierarchies in heaven. Even right now in heaven all angels are not equal, there is a hierarchy, in Daniel chapter 10 when God sent an angel with an answer to Daniel's prayer, the angel was withstood (blocked) from getting back to Daniel for 21 days by the prince of persia (satanic angel that ranked higher than the messenger angel) it took the intervention of the more powerful archangel Michael one of the chiefly princes to break the stalemate.
      That's why I believe that there will still be some form of hierarchy in heaven, how it will be I cannot exactly tell, but everyone will be happy no envying. That's strictly my opinion though as a babe in Christ and like I said I stand to be corrected

      Personally, I believe what God has prepared for those whom He loves and redeemed is as impossible for us to understand. I think we likely have a similar view as the amount of our understanding about this world and God’s creation while we were forming in the womb of our mothers. It is simply beyond our comprehension.
      God’s creation is a wonder, and there are so many things He has made for us to enjoy now. The next life I imagine will be beyond our very wildest dreams. Thank God for His gifts; glory be to the hallowed name of Almighty God.

    So, then, Matthew 10:32-33 and 41-42 are both speaking just of reward and not salvation? Obviously, the latter two verses are read that way, but are the first two? I'd be very inclined to say those first two verses (32-33) are clearly referring to eternal salvation. Preceding verses also appear to speak to eternal destiny being at stake:
    All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. (Matt 10:22) and
    Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. (Matt 10:28)

      @oluwarotimioluwatoyinbo5292 6 месяцев назад

      @@PinkyToe The message of Christ before and after His death were not different. The bible is full of promises and warnings. Promises so that we know what God has completed in Christ for us, made possible by Christ's obedience to God the Father. Warnings, so that we will not lose the promises. That's why He demonstrated this in Israel. There is absolutely nothing like once saved always saved. It is at the point when we see Jesus and our terrestrial bodies are transformed to celestial ones that anyone can say "once saved always saved." The video misses the very point of those verses. The first thing any believer must understand is that eternal itself is a reward.
      If we understand that, we will not begin to toy with it the way many people do. If Jesus says to believers that if they deny HIm, He will deny them, and we can bring that so low to accompanying rewards, then we are dangerously taking things too lightly. If Paul says the same to believers - a church, then it is something no believer should joke with. We love to emphasize the promises of the bible and de-emphasize the warnings there, as if the One who made the promises is not the same One who left the warnings.
      We also (in an unlearned manner) take the promises for as things securing our eternal life but when it comes to the warnings, we only relate it to rewards of service. What ignorance we toy with. May our eyes open to the very truth of the word of God.

  • @oluwarotimioluwatoyinbo5292
    @oluwarotimioluwatoyinbo5292 6 месяцев назад +1

    If we diligently read the chapters where some verses were culled from in this video, we will see some inconsistencies in the thought in the video. And they are very clear. If Jesus talks about anyone denying HIm, and Paul says the same to believers, and all we take it to mean is rewards, then something is missing. A Scripture can stand by itself as well as line up with other Scriptures because each Scripture points to Christ. This presentation is making a mistake which some believers make. When it comes to the promises of God in Scriptures, we tie them to eternal life. When it comes to the warnings of God in the same, we only relate them to some rewards. Is that how inconsistent Jesus and His word is? Think twice brethren.
    The bible is summarized into two clear things. The first, what God has accomplished in Christ Jesus (made possible by Jesus's full obedience to the Father). Second, what believers should do with what God has completed in Christ in the same spirit of full obedience unto the end, without which they will not see any of the promises of God. Jesus saw the hope laid down and He endured the cross and despised the shame to get there. We cannot do less and think we are secured. We will be the most unlearned and inconsistent of bible scholars. That's why you see words like "striving against sin," "deny yourself," "keep the faith" and many others in the bible. We can become so weak or even dismissive in teaching those crucial things and become so appealing in preaching one 'eternal security' that men lose a sense of what they are supposed to allow the grace of God do in their lives. If promises of God apply to eternal life, please read the warnings again, they apply to eternal life as well.
    May the Lord give us His understanding. Amen.
