Iv had my eye on this pack for a few weeks now, watched many RUclips vids & most of them recommend the Tailfin pack, your video was by far the best one iv seen so far, i have a iPhone 14 Pro so will probably get the 1.1 litre pack. Thanks again for the very informative video….. subscribed 👍
Hey Phillip, the Tailfin pack is an excellent top tube bag, and mine hasn’t come off my bike since I purchased it, I literally use it for every ride. The 1.1ltr pack is a great option, which will easily accommodate your iPhone 14 and much more. Take care and thank you for watching and happy riding. 🙏🏻⚡️🚴🏻
I opted for the 1.1L after seeing your Strava post and watching your earlier video, and I’m very happy with it. I’m able to bolt mine to the top tube, which is exactly what I was looking for. I initially swapped out the teal coloured toggle for the black one, but then removed it altogether and manage to use the zipper just as easily and there’s no worry of it flapping about in the wind. It’s not the cheapest top tube bag but the quality seems good and looks very smart and understated. Overall it gets a 10/10 from me. Thanks for the heads-up on this bag 👍
Hi Paul, the 1.1 pack you have is a fantastic purchase as it really does tick all the box’s. I find it quite refreshing personally to know I have everything I need already loaded into the pack on my bike and not stuffing everything into my rear pocket’s just before a ride. Yes it’s not the cheapest but you get what you pay for and these packs will last. Thanks for watching buddy and happy riding. ⚡️🚴🏻♂️👍🏼
Thanks, that's a nice looking bag. I already have one, I think it's .5L but big enough for what I need. I've been very impressed with Tailfin overall, and have been thinking about getting their rear rack.
Hi Michelle, it’s a great little top tube pack and i have been making good use of it since it’s been on my bike. Tailfin have a fantastic range of bags and racks so I reckon they will have one for you. Good luck 🤞🏻 Thanks for watching and happy riding. ⚡️🚴🏻♂️👍🏼
Hi Halsinger, the tailfin top tube pack is a great option if you are looking for a bit more storage. It was only going to ever be something that I would strap on to the bike for those longer rides, but it’s so handy for me it’s now a permanent fix. Many thanks for watching and happy riding. ⚡️🚴🏻
Hi Major Problem, that’s very nice of you. Devon here in the UK is a great place just like your beautiful Country. Many thanks for watching and take care. 🚴🏻♂️👍🏼
Nice review, I’ve had the 1,1L for a few months and love it as well! May I ask where your glasses from during the ride are from? Been looking for decent glasses for a while now
Hi Jan, here’s a link for the cycling glasses I am wearing in my videos, www.chainreactioncycles.com/p/oakley-radar-ev-path-sunglasses-6360119493?kk=a4c629a-18a709b3ae2-100910&msclkid=812bad7199351a9c3e90c98b9be179c3&Oakley+Radar+EV+Path+Sunglasses+-+Black+ I hope that helps. Many thanks for watching and happy riding. ⚡️🚴🏻♂️👍🏼
Hi Richard, my Handlebars are the Specialized Hover Comp, Alloy, 125mm Drop, 75mm Reach not sure about the rise but 15mm looks about right. The 0.8ltr tailfin top tube pack has been a very useful piece of kit which remains on the bike fully loaded for every ride. Many thanks for watching and happy riding 🚴🏻♂️👍🏼
Im planning to replace my saddle bag to this .8L top tube bag. Do you think that a 1x 25c inner tube, tire lever, small mutli tool and lezyne pocket would fit in that bag without looking bulge?
Hi Diego, you will not have any problems with fitting the accessories you have listed into the 0.8 litre pack. Yes it is small, but I was very surprised at how much i could fit into it comfortably. Good luck and many thanks for watching and happy riding. 🚴🏻♂️👍🏼
Another informative video. Some great points about this bag. watched all your vids now and keep going back to the review of the bike. Given the choice would you but the Aluminium version and upgrade the group set to say Force 1x or wheels for example and Roval cx38 or stick to the carbon. As a heavy rider I am unsure about the carbon version even though its lighter I have never had a carbon bike. TIA
Hi Oxharp, it’s a great little top tube pack and one you should consider if you ever need one. I personally like the carbon frame, they are much lighter and stronger, when I did mtb riding I saw 2 cracked frames and they were both aluminium. I would love to have some carbon wheels, but I really don’t have any problems with the ones that come with the bike. The Creo comes with boost hubs and the are definitely worth having if you are a heavy rider as the weight and punishment the wheels can take is amazing. You don’t see boost hubs on many road bikes as they originate from the MTB world, but they will get more popularity in time as the benefits and safety is worth it. Many thanks for watching buddy and take care. ⚡️🚴🏻♂️👍🏼
Hi James, the thing is the beeps and trying to tell me something and I keep ignoring it and the more I ignore it the more it beeps. 🤣🤣 The top tube pack is something I never thought I needed but now I wouldn’t go on a ride without it, it’s brilliant. Thanks for watching and take care buddy. ⚡️🚴🏻♂️👍🏼
Hi buddy, I’m using the iPhone 13, I had the same dilemma as you trying to decide which size is best for me. The 1.1 litre was great for longer days in the saddle but I chose the 0.8 litre instead so the pack can stay on the bike for every ride and I’m so pleased with it. I wish you luck and many thanks for watching and happy riding. 🚴🏻♂️👍🏼
They have interior dimensions on their website. The 0.8L will fit smaller phones (Galaxy S/regular iPhone, etc.) while the 1.1L fits the larger ones (Galaxy Ultra and iPhone Pro Max). If you ever consider buying a slightly larger phone, I'd not take the risk and choose the 1.1L.
@@macvos I keep my phone in a case, so it was harder to tell what fit better. I ended up getting the 1.1L which was the right choice. My phone fit and I had room for other items.
Hi Bruce, it’s a great little pack and one you must consider if you are ever in the market to purchase one. Many thanks for watching buddy and happy riding. ⚡️🚴🏻♂️👍🏼
Hi Sean, you can simply press the button with the bag in place, my finger goes under nicely. I don’t actually have the bag in that position nowadays because I personally find it works better for me, to place the top tube bag against the seat post, so the TCU is not covered at all. Thanks for watching and happy riding. ⚡️🚴🏻👍🏻
Hi Will, I’ve just tried a iPhone 14max and yes it just fits into the 0.8ltr pack but you do have to position it on an angle tho. There is a little bit of space left for snack bars and a multi tool for example. I tend to put my phone in my rear jersey pocket and use the pack for a spare tube and multi tool and snack bars. Tailfin has got a good return policy, I know because I have used it, so if it doesn’t work for you just exchange it for the 1.1 litre, I hope that helps. Many thanks for watching and happy riding. ⚡️🚴🏻♂️
@@electricbikerider Thanks so much with the quick reply! Just to clearify that the iPhone had a case on right? I just need a case that would fit only my phone for my commuter.
Hi Emily, it’s connected via ant+ similar to blue tooth so the connection is the same method, Using both the wahoo app and Mission Control, just search for new devices. Specialized worked with wahoo for a seamless solution and it works perfectly. Many thanks for watching and happy riding ⚡️🚴🏻♂️👍🏼
Hi Nick, I wasn’t having any knee rub when the 1.1ltr pack was positioned up against the steering tube it worked perfectly, but as I wanted to be able to reposition the pack against the seat post the 0.8ltr pack works better for me. In fact day to day riding I much prefer the pack in this position. I will however at some point purchase the 1.1ltr as I originally intended it for to a company me on my longer rides as the 0.8ltr is a bit to small. Thanks for watching and happy riding. 👍🏼🚴🏻♂️
Hi Rasherd, no I haven’t ridden in the rain yet, but I do wash my bike regularly with a hose and the contents of my pack always remains bone dry. I hope that helps. Thanks for watching and happy riding. 🚴🏻♂️👍🏼
Thank you so much for your detailed review. I have 3 different top tube packs from different manufactureres and I hate them all because they don't stay centered on the top tube. When I fasten the strap on the stem the pack always gets pulled to one side. I am forever pushing the pack back to the center. As a german engineer looking at a lop sided top tube bag is an unbearable eye sore, hence I use them only on long rides where they are the only option. Then I saw it used by GCN in this clip: ruclips.net/video/Bsu7Tpdxixs/видео.html / ruclips.net/video/dpa9FZHOdwY/видео.html (worth watching not just for the top tube bag). I then looked at all the youtube videos but I couldn't decide on the 1.1 or 0.8 litre, until I found your review because you show the difference in size between 0.8 and 1.1 on the bike. So I'll be ordering the 0.8l today and thanks for the video. 👍👍

Hi Richie, did you not see that I also have three day bright running lights, two rear lights and one front light. I also have a radar that not only automatically flashes the light faster at a vehicle as it approaches me from behind, it also shows me and records their speed and sounds an alarm for my attention. I also wear aluminous orange socks as it’s the rotational movement that catches motorists attention. Safety first.
