Thank you so much for posting this! Canopy is one of my daughter’s favorite games! She especially loves the drafting style - I think it’s called a Winston draft? Anyhow, I was wondering how it might look different in this new standalone game and I’m loving everything I see about the drafting and the other changes! The artwork looks stunning as well. This game will definitely be an addition to our collection!

Thanks for this stellar overview of the game. I was really hoping to see this before the Kickstarter today so I appreciate you uploading before it goes live. Excellent work as always. I'm definitely backing. Thanks guys!

Thanks for the video! Tough... I love Canopy, especially as a 2 player game! The artwork on this one and setting are definitely closer to home for me living in the Canadian portion of the Pacific Northwest. I'm not sure about that sideboard. If I could play this version of the game the same way as Canopy, and I could see that being a strong possibility, it might pull me in a lot more (i.e. to replace the original)! Though the original also has the small box size going for it...
PS I'm definitely looking forward to receiving my copy of Leaf!

Like we said in the video, this is just a fuller version of Canopy, so if you like Canopy you're probably going to love Evergreen. It adds just enough to make it feel different without overloading it

@@Love2HateBGreviews yeah, it is tempting, I'm just not sure I'm feeling the big difference from Canopy, so not sure if I'll jump on the KS or wait until it hits retail. I do really like Canopy, I had setup to play with my wife last night, but something came up. I am understanding some nuances between the two that is tempting me. In particular that the wildlife cards are in a separate deck which to me may help improve on the 3/4 player variant from the original. I've not liked in the original the thought that the 2nd card of a wildlife pair may be impossible to get based on the draft decks between two other players being inaccessible. Though I don't like that thought, I suppose it doesn't really bother me, I just consider Canopy as really a 2 player or solo game as a result.
