I thought this was an 80s song they do a good job of bringing this certain charm that the 80s has but adding a modern touch to it. Shocking I haven't heard of this band until now I already know I will enjoy going through their discography!
This is such a beautiful song , an excellent example of how good goth is when done well . Nosferatu are a sterling band , just listen to the album "Lord of the Flies" for further proof .

I remember when I first heard Nosferatu I stumbled across the album the price of darkness around high school and the song the passing and since then I've been hooked

So whatever happened to Vlad Janicek? I remember him being pissed off as he said Damien ran off with the name and took it on as his own. I've not spoken to him since probably 93-94 so I've no idea what he went onto do. Apart from sulk as you lot sold shit loads after.
As far as I recall, it was Damien who left the band. He really shouldn't have continued under the name. However, I also think that Vlad probably didn't particularly care by that point. Shadowmaker was short-lived, and I guess he went on to concentrate on design after that (his "day-job", I believe). I still feel that all concerned should bury the hatchet and Vlad should return. He was the driving force, orginally, and a great song-writer / arranger. That said, "Wonderland" is fantastic, and easily the best thing since "Rise" by miles. I reckon that Louis' arrangement and recording skills have played a huge role here. He makes up for Vlad's absence. The material that Damien released after Vlad's departure didn't impress me at all, and I lost track of the band. That is, until "Wonderland" was released. Epic stuff, and well done Louis! Still, is there any chance that Vlad could be welcomed back into the ranks? That could make for a sell-out tour and album.
