I just spent two days in Fuquay at the DMV office across the street from cultivate coffee and vicious fishes. People start lining up at 6am hoping someone cancels their appointment so they can get served. Yesterday there were 66 people in line at 8am opening. The online walk-in registration doesn't start until noon and if you're lucky enough to be one of the first registrations you might be seen just before they close at 5pm. If not, they tell you to "come and get in line earlier tomorrow". F-V like the rest of the Raleigh area is completely unprepared for the massive influx happening.
It's over built now. We are considering leaving. Traffic is insane. People from other states are rude. Not enjoyable anymore. Too many apartments and condos now.
@@brianpulley8652 Please be more a little bit considerate to those who are new and just exploring the area. Just because I like video doesn’t mean I will be moving to your town.
It's great they are going to open up 540 soon but they really need to start and finish the proposed 401 bypass. Traffic to get anywhere from Raleigh to beyond Fuquay-Varina is abysmal during rush hour! Trying to make that left turn onto 55 to get to Angier is frustrating!
Nice little country town good people that live there and plenty of tractors in their town and but loads of good people who don't mind helping out if ❤like you if not I would not piss any of them off cause those good old farm boys would love to put a boot in some one rearend and stay of of farmers filled that is his livelihood it like taking food of his table I know that the farmers would like that to well cause remember that they say NO FARMS NO FOOD I AM GOOD FRIENDS WITH THE OLD FARMERS THEY KEEP THIS COUNTRY FEED AND THIS IS NOT A EASEY THING TO ACOMPLISH THAT AT ALL

I live in Fuquay. Do not come here. You are ruining it. A million yuppies have moved into these track homes around here and now there are just a billion people, and no traffic infrastructure. The traffic is disgusting. The track home neighborhoods drive up the cost of everything around them, after destroying the woodlands we had. My home as nearly tripled in "value" because of it, increasing taxes, in the last 6-7 years. Any charm Fuquay had has been gutted by this influx of transplants.

Just a heads up, Shops on Main moved out of that location and was replaced by a gym.
Oh wow, thank you. Good to know
Fuquay varina is great place. Especially local breweries are amazing
How are the schools in FV?
Fuquay is not A nice place to stay anymore Way too much traffic enough room. I really don't know why they said there's a lot of room. There is not
Are all the new neighborhoods or communities mandatory HOA and or CDD?
Love this video ! This is one of my spots to move next year

Shout out to my people at Revelry and Pints!
Is there anything for children ? Teens? What do kids do after school?
The predatory developers will ruin that small town feeling in a heartbeat and it seems as though they’ve already made their move! No thanks!

It would be great if people would stop moving here.

The only positive is it's close to HS landfills, power plant and same horrible traffic apart from that woods are near by
I see traffic in the future..
We have traffic now. :) Lots and lots of traffic.

Just curious were you born and raised here?
Then why are so many houses for sale or rent? You can’t gatekeep an entire state

Fuquay Varina was a lot better 30 years ago.
Everybody thinks 30 years was better than today. I'm sure they were saying this in 1930
Sure back in 1900 they where saying same thing

LOL. The only growth is residents and new residential houses.
Hopefully more other types of growth soon
Great, there are lots of space and builders are interested to construct big houses and huge communities
This video is right on time. I’m moving here next weekend!
Awesome! Hope you like it
