I have spent my entire life working in the wedding industry and I can tell you I have seen women of all ages all demographics all races get married. I've seen all different types of combo of relationships from the college students, to the single mom, The elderly couple on there second marriage. I have seen it all but one of the very few that I have seen are these 40 50-year-old men with 19 20-year-old women like the manosphere tries to push the narrative for. Any man looking at a girl that young is not looking for a wife he is looking for a toy. So anytime somebody tries to dunk on me about being in my 30s and unmarried. As a woman i wished vivica would have never come public with this and moved in silence. A man can be out there living his best life and at the age of 60+ decide to want to settle down and do so with a 20-30 year old while a woman should settle for being alone and treated as old as soon as we hit 40. I have done what Vivica did in that interview when faced with the same questions. In my mind I was taking ownership of my situation, like a form of control. After actually seeing how that looks, I regret it.

I have a coworker in her 60s that found love and married for the first time; she said she gave the younger women at her church hope. She wasn’t looking love; he found and perused her. She only works because she wants to. He provides, protects, and treats her like a Queen!❤ My other coworker is in her mid 60s; she found the love of her life with her third marriage. In the age of oversharing we've definitely forgotten how to keep certain things private. I even had to learn to only tell a select group of people about my dating life because many people are intimated by and jealous of the success women have had within the last decade...esp blk women. They will use your singleness as a tool to throw you on an island of misfit toys to make you feel inadequate.
When others ask, I just simply say I'm enjoying my life.
Yep I had a family member purposely sometimes set me up with guys and I’d figure out later on that she knew they weren’t no good to begin with. She’d withhold information about them knowing it’d save me time rather than wasting time getting to know them.
Like you’d think if they knew something, they’d tell you because they care and want you to have a choice in the situation, but despite of knowing your values, they wanted to watch you stress anyway.
All of that just to stall your progress and keep you jaded like them. that’s why I kept my distance because that is some deep level hatred. It was so passive aggressive that it took me some time to catch it on the times I spent went with her.

For those commenting on Vivica's face/looks,- it looks like weight gain and she could possibly be on some steroid medication. Having work done? Very possible. But it's not just cosmetic work, -it's mostly medication. I've seen prescriptions like prednisone give people this type of moon-face look.

Unless you are a "fundie" or staunch evangelical? in her age bracket, the men are looking for age appropriate companionship and a person to take care of them in their old age, young women are not trying to do that and they cost a lot, so women and their 50's and 60s can get a ring if they are realistic and look decent, which she does. She did not need to announce it to the world though...
Her being stuck on 50 pennies for the last half of the century.... The worst part was the constant rumination on that looser... She should have kept kept quiet about her exes and NEVER spoken about her LOVE life EVER... Vivica is mature enough to know this, by now. At certain points in one's life it's best to stay focused on one's fitness/ health, mental health and living well. Everything else is trash nonsense and distractions.

What did you expect for folks, especially men to say? There was no need for Vivica to go on a public forum to announce her loneliness. She is a whole grown, supposed to be mature woman that does not strike me as the type of woman that need to advertise her availability for love other than the need to be validated, to be seen or to stay relevant. Vivica is a beautiful, smart and strong woman that needs no validation or approval from anyone. What happened to privacy? Everyone uses social media for every aspect of their lives. They put their own business out and then get mad when folks comment on it. Keep YOUR BUSINESS YOUR BUSINESS and then you won't have to be on social media defending yourself.
