Hi Wooltman, Thank you for a great video of our railway at Wrexham, Thanks also to the nice and encouraging comments below. Nice to meet you and your wife. The railway is open every Sunday throughout the year, its open to the public so everyone is always welcome. Cheers Chris B1
Brilliant video! Really captures the fun and friendly atmosphere we have at Wrexham! It's really nice to see all the happy comments below - glad everyone below likes our track and locos (especially the B1). You'll have to visit us again sometime! :) Cheers - Adam.
Thanks Adam for your kind comments, glad you liked my video, were planning another long weekend in Llangollen in March for the Gala so if your club is open we will visit again.Happy New Year.Best wishes.Chris.
Another railway I never got to visit, but it looks like a lovely location at Gresford, and that B1 was really flying around. A fine video as always, captures the atmosphere there perfectly.
Many thanks for your kind comments David....Great bunch of guys at the Wrexham club...You don't see many raised tracks with an island platform siding,if any!
This looks a superb Railway....The Loco's seemed to be flying round some of those curves !! It looked a lot of fun, and you can sense an easy atmosphere there with all the Drivers. A big thumbs up from me....and thank you both for sharing these four superb videos....best wishes....Steve.
I don't like raised tracks but this one seemed different,on the fastest lap contest the B1 won, hang on guys. Thanks Steve. Will be heading down your way soon to ride a few railways in your area!Regards Chris.
Hi Mark...Sorry you had some rain,it has been lovely this side of the Country...They are a great bunch of guys, will do anything to make your visit a special one.
Sorry the Welshpool video was a short one,we had intended to take a few shots from the lineside but it never happened.Glad you liked the series of video's.Regards Chris.
This is without doubt the best five inch track i have seen and run like it should be ,not like others with stupid rules and more safety officers than locos.
Great video! Looks like a really nice railway. Do you know of any other miniature railways in the Wrexham area? I'm sure I once saw a ground level line advertised.
Not in Wrexham but Eaton Hall,The Park in Chester,Mold M.E.S has a raised track, plus a garden centre has a 7 1/4 railway but it was shut when we visited. Not sure if it's there now.
@@wooltman I know the place. Have you been there? I asked them about visiting and they said its for family events only so looks like I might have to hire the railway to get that one!
