Thank you SO SO SO MUCH for this video. I went thru 5 other videos and still couldn't figure it out and you explained it so simply and clearly and pointed out exactly which piece needed to fit where. I was literally driving around with dirty windshields for months cuz I couldn't figure out how to install it...even the instructions inside the box were useless. Thankkkk you!!!
DUDE YOUR VIDEO IS AWESOME! I almost argued with dad that costco michelin blades fit Lexus NX, he couldn't figure it out and went to NAPA and spent 80 bucks(at the time of writing) on 3 wipers. Costco has the best deal ever and they go on sale quite often, $3 off each limit 4 per member(I think you can get more later just not on the same day). Highly recommend these
great video only thing i would add is that you first need to put the wiper blades in winter mode go to the passenger side grab both blades and move them up the windshield by hand until the go to the new position from there you can now pull them off off the windshield and start replacing them
I would but i no longer date the girl that owned this NX300. I caught her cheating on me by going home from work early one day and found her and my dad trying to make babies.
I am missing something on why most all GX 460 Owners don't just replace the "OEM wiper blade refills"?? I just ordered some of the refills from a Lexus Delearship in Colorado about a month ago. They were litteraly $22-27 including shipping for a pair! I have read great things about the OEM Blades in the forum being better than the rest as well.........I didn't know however that the previous owner of my GX had replaced the wiper blades with cheap duralast ones until I went to install these refills. I know now I need to actually buy the entire full OEM wiper blade set that comes with the 3 blades as I need the arms now too. Bell Lexus has them on there Amazon store for about $64.99 with free shipping........There is a strange problem with them however that I noticed in the picture regarding their authenticity and or quality.......The OEM Lexus Sticker on the plastic sleeve bag that the front two wipers come in says "Made In China" if you look closely at the top left Sticker on the Bell Lexus Wiper Blade Set Picture on Amazon for the 3 blades.........Then on the bottom right you will notice just the rear glass wiper blade plastic sleeve has the OEM Lexus sticker on it that says "Made In Japan"?? I thought all OEM Lexus Parts and Accessories are made in Japan?? Is this just "Bell Lexus" or do they all come like this from any Lexus Dealerships if you order the wiper blade set?? If anyone knows anything about this please let me know as Im ready to buy these but the "Made In China" part is really throwing me off and making me not want to order them.
Hello Devan Rogers! Glad you tuned in. The Goodyear and Michelin blade refills sold at Costco go on sale every rain season for $7.99 each versus the ones you speak of for $22/$27 a pair that are presumably made and supplied by Lexus. First of all, just like their roof rails, Lexus outsource their accessories under the Lexus badge. Your rubber wipers are made from the same rubber wipers from the Goodyear plant. If you are planning to spend more money for something that will need to be replaced every season anyways, buying a $7.99 wiper makes more sense. There are many reasons why wipers don't last due to several factors: owners don't maintain them, the scorching sun in some states, and the amount of use per owner. If you buy some $7.99 wipers from Michelin and run a towel soaked in olive oil during seasons they are not in use, they will outlast your so-called Japanese Lexus OEM wiper blades (which are most likely made by the same mass producer of wiper blades). There will definitely be subtle differences in design but not enough to justify paying more money. I wouldn't worry about the China label on the products you're picking up in the parts store from Lexus because they were not part of the core design of the vehicle. I would worry more if the SUV was made in China, not their wiper blades.
@GXBOB I've owned 2 Lexus Vehicles before the GX. I had an 08 IS 250 RWD and a 14 IS 350 AWD. The OEM Blades always last me 2 years. I know they used to be made by Denso........That's why I am wanting to make sure the OEM Lexus ones are excellent quality like before. I have to order the arms as well this time like I was saying because the previous owner of this GX used Duralast.
I followed your instructions but the Michelin blade does not seem secure. If I pull toward the passenger side the blade disconnects from the arm very easily. The OEM blades are much more secure.
If you’re not able to push the lock tabs in more to secure a better grip then Try a second set. These adapters are plastic and are not consistent from time to time. I mean…it is waaay cheaper than oem.
BOB, You my friend, are a Man's Man.. What I mean by that is it seems like you don't care if your hands are dirty or not. Maybe I am assuming? if so, I apologize but, It's cool... I on the other hand, would freakout if my hands got that dirty lol.. Then again, I am a germophobe. Wife and kids Hate it, since I am always telling them to wash their hands a million times a day They always say, I'm gonna rub my skin off of my hands lol Anyway, sorry I got off topic, but it's again, "Respectable/commendable" that you are very handy. I did not know you had an NX.. Seems like you are a Lexus Connoisseur.
Hey Kiss Kiss! The NX belongs to the girlfriend. I wanted to keep the channel strictly GX but I couldn't resist. My hands are clean 99% of the time as I am an Engineer for an Aerospace company. The dirty hands is that 1% where I can actually do something I enjoy. (=
@@GXBOB I totally understand, As my comment wasn't intended to offend, but as you can see my OCD got the best of me lol Again, my apologies if it offended. PS: I understand if you wanted to keep it strictly GX but it's okay.. the NX is still a Lexus product therefore; no harm, no foul.
Dealer asked for $100.00 to replace all three wipers Thanks for your video, I did it myself. Your instruction is the best! Easy to follow.
Thanks for the comment Nghiep!
One of the best “how-to” video I’ve seen on YT. Great camera work and excellent instruction. Kudos !
Glad you enjoyed it!

Any time, glad it was helpful.
I watched a few demo but your demo was one of the best and easiest. We appreciate you very much.
Thanks for your comment, easiest is always the best!
Thanks - I’ve replaced wipers on a few different vehicles and this was the best video I’ve seen for this!
Thanks Heather. Now imagine if you had a GX460....

thanks MrKcool ! My channel gears more towards the Lexus GX470 and 460. But a lot of the parts and installs are similar.
You are a legend mate, I am literally standing at Costco parking watching this clip.
Dude, i'm surprised they still sell this brand of wipers. This video was released a very long time ago.
Thank you. I changed them myself thanks to your instructions.
I was struggling until your video. Thank you! 🙏🏼
Glad it helped!
Good job, thanks…it helped very much…

Thanks for the advice Eric.
Thank you for this video, extremely helpful. I was able to easily change them out myself.
Glad it helped Audrey.
Thank you, can you do with the good year wiper blades?
I would but i no longer date the girl that owned this NX300. I caught her cheating on me by going home from work early one day and found her and my dad trying to make babies.
Awesome video. I was about to return the parts thinking It doesn’t fit.
Where there’s a problem, there is a RUclips video. 😀
Thats great help and time saving
Wonderful presentation, very effective and easy to understand. Thank you.
Thank you.
better video then michelin video good close up of the mechanicals of the wiper almost no thinking to install wiper
I got the idea from watching crappy tutorials first. 😃
Simple thanks to you video.
It wasn't obvious on the directions in the box THANK YOU
You’re welcome James!
Great video !
The current Michelin guardian blades from Costco do not fit my NX 300.They look nothing like the ones in your video here.
Are you at a Costco in Canada or something?

Thanks for the demonstration!!
Any time Wei!
Thank you so much. Great video.
Glad it was helpful!
What style are these blades? I can't seem to find them
Probably because inventory from Costco to Costco varies. These were offered in Costco's in southern California.
Bob can you show us how to tighten emergency brake ?
I have so much going on that i haven't had time to get there yet. I'm trying I"m trying!!!
I thank you for this
You’re welcome!
Thank you
Glad it helped.
Great video but your front hood must be all scratched up!
I was very very careful
1000 thank yous
