- Here is another MY Little Pony Movie themed song just after my last one which was an original on ASOS's Candy album! This time around its a remix of one of the fan favourite tracks "Open Up Your Eyes". Hope you enjoy. :)
Fun fact: This is the first time I've ever remixed an actual song from the series itself, and safe to say this will lead into more to come!

Making it F# minor makes is sound way more sinister! I do think that the original held more emotion, but this one feels more dark and powerful.

Thanks! glad you like the arps, it was one of the things I wasn't sure of at the time, and had to keep experimenting with tons of things to figure out what I wanted to do xD

Yo, just wondering, where do y'all find your stems for remixes? Been wanting to get into them but I can't find shit, myself xD (Also just hit the drop as I finished typing this holy crap nice work)
It's really hit and miss to be honest, sometimes its easy to find them, other times its a lot of effort. The stem I used for this song is actually quite dirty, but for the most part I made it work, you could probably find it if you just looked up "Open up your eyes vocal stems" or "acapella" :P
Also for the most part with MLP anyway, its actually quite easy to get a hold of studio quality stems just by looking them up.
That's because the highest quality stems are from the 5.1 audio which is found in digital and dvd/bluray releases. And currently those haven't been released yet for the movie. I have some of the acapellas for the movie, including this song(which was my favorite!). Give it a listen and see if it's good for you!
Extra note: Big screen movies usually have the worst chance for an clean acapella(and instrumentals too), because the channel which has the acapella usually has some center instruments, like percussion, and instruments(and vocals) are spread across the channels, therefore not getting an full instrumental many times...
