Greetings Smile Jamaica. I feel both parties in a relationship should have some financial backing and share amongst each other. We are raised to have expectations of our partners and when we are not satisfied we become resentful of the person we proclaim to love. I prefer to take the independent role regardless my spouse is financially stable.

I think that in a relationship, men should be paying the lion's share of expenses because, traditionally, men earned more. If, however, the woman earns more, then the expenses should be split equally as opposed to proportioned. Sounds unfair but it's only recently that women have been in a position where they earn the same or more than men.

Tradition for man to bed the head, because we move so for away from that tradition hence the world stay the way it is, with that being said people send money on unnecessary things all the time so thats why we have this debate.
