I have visited Singapore it's amazing how a such small country is so rich because of its citizens' discipline & dedication. Its total population is merely 50 lakhs , and still, it's richer than Mumbai, just like Israel. India can definitely learn a lot from this amazing country.
I've been to Singapore, and their buildings are best mixture of nature+man made, and the whole city is quite peaceful and it simply is just magestic, you have to visit in order to know how beautiful it is, Also the utility of public transport is awesome, as a tourist everywhere i went was in metro trains, they have impressive cleanliness and people are well behaved, but it all comes down to being a island sized, which is why Singapore is one of a kind, to transform a city is way easier than transforming a country which currently has more than 10-15 cities of similar size to Singapore, and most of its population is in villages...
This type of planning should be initiated in India as well, although it'd need much time and effort and sacrifice as well.... India has taken steps but due to political problems and terrorizm, it's been critical but Hopefully one day.... ❤🇮🇳

In mumbai suburban there are so many narrow roads 2 lane roads become 4 lanes the reason is 40 to 50 years ago people came here and built there houses in open land area and this keep happening day by day. Even government didn't even gave attention toward they never taught that it will created problems in future and happening the same too many conjusted areas road no proper planning no footpaths for walking vegetables wendors on the roads bcoz of that people walking on roads. Mumbai suburbs have a massive open land area in that time if government may trying to make proper planning so now the scenario was different. At that time government can make easily planned city.
