Nice to hear these beautiful bells from St. John's! My grandpa served the congregation and my dad an aunt were baptized and confirmed there, and attended the school.
Thank you Elizabeth and John for doing that. Always love hearing them. Also, it was really great reading about the age and size of the bells. It is truly amazing to hear all the history of the church and the makings of it. You guys look great doing that.
Nice ringing. It’s an interesting style. Completely different to Change Ringing, maybe a little simmilar to the italian ambrosian way of ringing. Thanks for sharing
Wish I could have been there to help! Always did like the sight, the sound, and the doing, whether by hand, or electric assist. Is the clock working? An E Howard, or ?
Wonderful!
Hand rung!! in America?! thank heavens. Sounds nice and heavy too.

Thank you very much! Makes me homesick for Ulm, Germany where the church bells rang like that many time throughout the day.
Very simple, very satisfying

American ringing is really its own style - with arched headstocks and falling clappers, mostly
