I am a Dooney Florentine girl…mostly. I have wanted to venture out and because yours and Doghound’s You Tube channels. I first saw these on Doghounds and searched and came across yours as well. I have purchase the Avery Med. Saddle Deluxe with Mocha straps and Mocha tassel… I also purchase the Slim Black with Saddle Handles, Saddle Tassel and snap closure. Thank you so much for your reviews. Somehow …I cannot connect with ANY of the leather shops like I can with GFG. Thank you. PS… I love your dresses, necklace and bracelet too. Would love for you to share videos on SLG’s too.

I have a medium Avery in Grape that i really like! Most of the time, it feels like the best everyday bag for me! The saddle is very pretty!!

I have 2 mini's too, and I was also worried that they'd be too small, but they are not, I don't know why, maybe because there's some depth to them, and the leather is so squishy. I was lucky enough to get the navy and I got a black one after I fell in love with the navy. Love your videos; always fun to see others collections!

Thanks for sharing your collection. Go reasoning behind having a preference for the east/west over north/south. Very practical. I prefer the north/south but only because I think it looks better on me.

I love your collection, Heidi. GFG bags are definitely awesome. I’m surprised you sold your Avery Saddle Deluxe. Have to say, after watching your video on it I ordered one exactly like it, even bought the tassel, too. In fact, I love all your videos and I have been constantly checking the KMM&CO website watching for their Cypress bag to return…..they assure me it will. Watching other’s videos can definitely get expensive!

Yes! I do have the navy for sale but only because I’m buying the cobalt blue. As much as I hate to part with it, I can justify two blue bags.

I’m 5’1” & my fav strap length is 11 inch! I have a KKM & Co Blue Petrol Bison Carryall & I definitely made that 11 inches.
It’s so funny because I always thought 11” would be too long but it’s really not! It’s super comfy! 🥰

Hi! This video encouraged me to order a small deluxe saddle Avery with natural handles. I'm really liking the darker saddle color that GFG has right now. Thank you for sharing. I see from another comment that you ordered a cobalt bag - oh my! The cobalt is gorgeous. I have a mini Avery in cobalt and it's stunning. If you don't have a Jane GFG bag yet, it's a unique and fun bag to carry and holds more than you might think it could. Just saying... ;)

@@TheHeidibrooke My small Avery in saddle with natural handles (I ordered right before the end of customizations) because of your video (!) arrived yesterday - and It. Is. Stunning! I can't wait until the handles patina some and it becomes more like a Reese's peanut butter cup combo. ;) I guess I'll just have to carry it for a few weeks solid instead of switching out bags every time I go out. I'm trying to hold off on ordering another Jane or a Sarah until I know what the fall colors will be.

Have you noticed any drooping of the bottom of the bag if you don’t use a bag organizer?
Hi Bonnie! That’s a great question, and no, I have not noticed any sagging. I cannot stand bags that round out and droop at the base. I have not had that issue with GFG. 🥰
Would recommend ordering the bison leather if you get a chance from GFG, the leather is amazing.
You should do a comparison video on the three mini totes - PLG, GFG, and KMM. Pros and cons of each.

Hi Jen 4, I do still have that KMM kodiak. I love that bag so much, lol. The pull-up is incredible. It’s comparable, in terms of quality to the Cypress and Avery but neither of those have that same level of pull up effect. They are outstanding, thick, wonderful bags though! Lol about being an enabler...I can’t deny it. I want everyone to enjoy their bags as much as I do. 😄

Thank you so much! Ok, so as far as quality...I have to say GFG is superior to PLG. The leather is thicker, and feels so amazing. Their straps are better too. They don’t have the sharp edges and feel so good on the shoulder. However, their selection is more limited. They are also pricier but the quality is definitely higher. For the money, PLG is wonderful! Their prices are so affordable and they have a huge variety of styles as you know. 🥰

I love all your videos! I have a bday coming up and was planning to ask for a PLG tote but now I’m considering a GFG medium Avery. Gah!! Would you say the GFG is a lot heavier than PLG leather bags? That’s my main concern. Thanks!!
Oh awesome! Nothing like getting to order your own birthday gift! I always do that too, lol. So fun! The GFG medium might be only slightly heavier than a medium PLG tote, but not by much at all. The medium GFG is 2lbs 1oz. Now if you are considering the GFG medium deluxe, I would discourage you from that one since weight is a concern. That one seemed quite a bit heavier than the regular version. It has extra leather on the inside and a zipper. It really makes a difference in the weight on your shoulder. Overall, I don’t find the Medium Avery heavy and the straps are A LOT more comfortable than PLGs, and I’m not trying to throw PLG under the bus because their prices are great but their straps take some time to break in. 🥰

Is KMM still your favorite? If so, why more than GFG?
KMM is still very high on my list. I would say KMM and GFG are very similar in quality. I’m also really enjoying my “new to me” Choice Cuts Horween Tote (video coming) and my Coastal Hillbilly totes (video posted). You can’t go wrong with GFG or KMM for the highest quality of leather and outstanding craftsmanship. 🥰
Oh my gosh, I’m surprised you chose your regular medium avery over the slim! Haha it is gorgeous though! All of them truly are. Now, the question is KMM or GFG, if you had to choose one company? 😉
Isn’t that crazy, coming from a vertical tote loving leather addict? 😂 There is something truly special about their regular medium Avery. Ohhh, that’s a tough question! As of right now, at this moment, I’m going to say GFG. I still love KMM’s kodiak but GFG has better handles, inner pockets, snd hardware, IMO.
How does the smell compare to PLG cold brew?
Hi Debby! 👋 They smell great but they do no smell as strongly as PLGs pebbled leathers. Those you can smell from across the room, lol. 😄🥰

How do I order a slim?
