Purchased TireMinder 2 years ago. Gives me a huge sense of security being able to monitor what the tire pressures and temps for any signals that may lead to tire failure. Wouldnt have an rv without it.
I have to chime in because I grew up in Overland Park right off Lowell and Conser but I digress, all family and friends, dead and alive, are still there. I say this because I understand your sense of humor. Thnx for letting me watch.
Good information! We bought a Tire Minder System for our diesel pusher. Got the 10 tire unit, as we are towing our Jeep Cherokee. Coach has 6 tires. I mostly bought it because we have TPMS on the Jeep and it has saved us a few times! And our coach has some older tires and some new tires. Thanks for your time!
Bought this after watching this Video. Easy to install and makes the wife an I feel more comfortable while pulling an RV. Thanks for doing this video. I know it has been awhile, but seeing your 2023 Tampa RV show video reminded me about this product. Really enjoy your content and love of Community and Christ.
Just bought this unit. Thanks for making it so easy. Except the blindfold part. One of the reasons I like you so much is because you make me look normal LOL
They are a MUST have. Mine is a different brand though. It helped me on the interstate in Sherman, Tx when I picked up a nail and a second time on a different trip traveling through Waveland, MS. It's already paid for itself in my opinion.
I purchased the i10 about 4 years ago and tell you, I feel so much safer, tire wise with this setup! We looked at many other options, lower and higher priced, but this one always came out on top. Oh, and free batteries for life, maybe O-rings too, not sure….pay shipping, though. BTW, the monitor works on rechargeable battery too, so that eliminates one cord hanging around your dash!
Love mine. I have a older one, the 66 and it saved me a couple of months ago going to Jekyll Island. Actually heard a loud pop and the system sent an immediate alarm and was able to get off the road without any RV damage.
We use the TPMS in our Coach and trailer. We had a tire on the trailer go flat. The system worked great. We had time to pull off and find a safe place to change the tire. Happy Travels
Hi Todd and Shelia from the UK. I enjoy your videos a lot. My wife and I are recently retired and are using our caravan (travel trailer) to explore the UK and continental Europe. I really like the USA and the many cultures you have and will when COVID becomes manageable be spending time visiting many parts of your vast country. The fundamental difference between our countries is size with the UK being more compact (and often cold and damp), but that being said I enjoy your instructional videos perhaps more than the travelogue ones as I find them very useful. Please keep both types of video coming even if the instructional ones are not always fully relevant to my situation. Please keep enjoying life and enriching your viewers lives with the videos. Colin from Ramsbottom (a town in the North UK)
Hey there! Thank you for following our channel- we hope that once CoVid is in the rear view mirror we can get over to Europe again! Until then stay safe and keep doing all the things!
Just installing mine I have the new rhino 6 sensor tire minder with the flow through sensors. You can put air and not take off the sensors. You made me feel I can do it. The read out is on my phone through an app from tire minder. Had a blow out and it wasn’t fun so new tires now a system to monitor tire pressure feel was a must. I have blue tooth app or a meater block app. Reads meat temps on my bbq similar works. Thanks
It's so important to have something like this for your tires. We have one, not the same brand but it is essential when you're pulling a large or small camper to know what your tire pressure is at all times. Thanks for sharing this information with Switch Crew members.
We have been really pleased with our Tire Minder system, and their customer service is fantastic! One of our sensors went out within the first couple of months and they replaced for us at no charge! Thanks for the video and see you in Tampa! Oh, and Chad better be watching out for the guy who can do things blindfolded!
Yes, very good Idea 💡 I also up my tires for the higher ratings. It's sickening how manufacturers put tires and the axles, that are truly "under-rated" for the load! It's crazy, best do the math on your RV... it's scary. I hate seeing RVs scattered all over the roadway... very sad. Pepole also tow way over the payload of the Trucks today. The RV Sales Department should go see all the RV accident on the highways.... Thanks for sharing! You guy's are awsome, keep making and having the fun!
What perfect timing Todd! I was actually just sitting down to order one. Since I have decided to keep Hellen Wheels, my Class C, I'm making a couple upgrade investments. This is one of them. Thanks, I'll use your link.
Hey Todd, we just arrived in Florida. We're planning on meeting you two at the Super Show, also got registered for the Texas Throw Down (huddle). Looking forward to everything.
Installing this while blindfolded, perhaps. But is it easy enough for Bigfoot, a dinosaur, or a bear to install it? We'll probably have to wait to see in a upcoming episode.
Todd great video but, I’m wondering do I need it also on my truck? Wouldn’t it be best to have a unit that monitors the trailer tires and the truck tires? My truck has something on it that tells me if a tire has low pressure, but it does not give me any info about tire temperatures. Your advice is greatly appreciated, thanks. BTW, your videos are awesome, thanks
Didn't show the booster mounted.Do the antennas have to point down towards the ground? I've seen a few videos that recommend this but the installation book doesn't say anything about that
So you connected the relay directly to the batteries instead of after the cut-off switch. That means it's a permanent parasitic draw on your battery, right?
@@jamesglenn520 On our you connect system there is a spot in the trailer settings to add the trailer tire pressure monitor. We have a 2022 Ram 3500 Dually
Sorry to say, but no one including this video has convinced me to get one. I have 60 years of experienced behind me without one tire failure on any vehicle from any cause on any highway coast to coast.
Sounds like you have pretty good luck but why take the chance of tearing the side board around your Tires out or even if you have a class a having a bad accident That you could have prevented, But I guess that's your decision good luck with your travels!!

The BEST investment we have purchased for our Truck & 5th Wheel, hands down!!!!🤗

Switching it up, don’t need one anymore. 🍻
That was a cool idea so I watch your video with one hand behind my back and one eye closed and I still got it ! Love you guys

I purchased a tire minder and am going to install it day after tomorrow. I will take you video with me to refer to- Loved your work!! 🤩
That's the one we have it was an easy install. We have it on the dually and fifth wheel.
it has saved us twice. Recommend this highly as well.
Chad who?!?! Looks like there’s a new sheriff in town! Great video Todd! Short, sweet, to the point. Excellent work!👍🏻

We have another brand. Great install video. 👍
I saw this pop up and was expecting Leroy to make more of an appearance.
Thanks for sharing.
Tpms is a must, great video Todd. Switch It Up!!
Doing all the things. Great tutorial!!

I believe I enjoyed this how-to video the most...until the next one, of course!!
Thanks Todd!
Absolute must have
You made that a fun video. Quick, simple and informative. Safe travels!
Good information. If we get an RV we will check this out.🙂. Once again... Thank you for this good video.
Thanks for the tailgate tip Todd!
Thanks for sharing!
Very good Cha.. I mean Todd. Great Video. 👍🏼😊🍺 No Really
Another awesome video. Thanks for sharing
Best TPMS system.
Great video. We have a different brand but a most have.
Hey G! Thanks for doing all the things!
Todd tech Friday, love it. Great job

Great video. It helped me ...
Love it Todd tech Friday
Thanks for the Info !!
Great tutorial
Great tutorial!! Thank you
Glad it was helpful!
#1 for Matt
I have an EEZ Tire. I need a new Tireminder for my new TT.
Was hoping LeRoy would show up and help with the installation!
Vicky vicky vicky - here I thought we were like kindred spirits and you were on my side :-) lol
@@SwitchItUpLife I’d rather see LeRoy than the sawdust fairy, does that count? LOL

We'll probably have to wait to see in a upcoming episode.
Todd has a serious side only Sheila would know that.this is good information but I do miss Sheila
What does this have to do with a Dutch oven? Why do you not see these on tractor trailers for the most part? Good video!
Todd great video but, I’m wondering do I need it also on my truck?

The tireminder system allows to monitor 20 tires - so this is absolutely possible.
Great video. Don't they offer the flow thru sensors? What was your previous unit? Thanks Todd and Sheila for for the awesome content.
Didn't show the booster mounted.Do the antennas have to point down towards the ground? I've seen a few videos that recommend this but the installation book doesn't say anything about that
I think you said it runs on wifi. Are you sure it's not Bluetooth?
Actually Todd said I think it's just magic 🤣
Is there an easy way to turn off the power to the booster so it doesn't drain the battery.
I have a 25” motorhome. Would I still need a relay?
Not necessarily but it is super easy to put on and would cut down on the communication time. Hope that is helpful!
So you connected the relay directly to the batteries instead of after the cut-off switch. That means it's a permanent parasitic draw on your battery, right?
I bet CHAD could install everything blindfolded...lol #changinglanes
Didn't the Ram come with a TPMS?
Wouldn’t the tires need to be rebalanced?
DOAT
Doesn’t your Shrek have a system? Our new Ram came with them for the truck & 4 extras for our toy hauler
What system is in your Ram?
I have a new truck and it has TPMS for 6 but never heard of an OEM system for your trailer 🤔
@@jamesglenn520 On our you connect system there is a spot in the trailer settings to add the trailer tire pressure monitor. We have a 2022 Ram 3500 Dually
@@shannonparris6279 I'll have to look into it. These new trucks have a lot of extra stuff 😳 Trying to figure it out is a process 🤔
@@jamesglenn520 😅 We are trying also, only had the truck since mid December
What??? .. where's Leroy?
Tireminder asked us to help them get customers not scare them away sooooo Leroy had to stay home. bhaahaha

This is a stupid question I’m sure 🤣, but how do you add air once these are on? Do you have to take them off every time you need to?
Yes you have to take them off to add air or they do have a pass through valve system you can add on to make that easier.
@@SwitchItUpLife thank you!
