Omg...thank you so much for Ohming out the Input and Output. All other videos showing them checking the White and other cables, but not the black wire. Just confirming that the suspected ballast is bad..thank you,.sir!
Thanks. Exactly what I was looking for: short and well explained. I don't have any continuity between my terminals, so I guess it means the wire is broken somewhere?
What are the "in" and the "out" of the coil connected to without opening the balast? I tested black and white on a working balast and I don't have continuity
Good afternoon, I bought a new lamp for my moving head to think that it was from the lamp that did not light. With this lamp lights but the light that gives is weak. Can it be of ignitor or ballast ? Ignitor link imgur.com/a/3QmXcTZ ballast link imgur.com/a/pYDthVG Does anyone know how to test these components with the multimeter?

Hi sir, thanks for your video. What is the good resistance for the ballast?
Great presentation. Would be awesome if you could show how to open ballast.
Thank you so much. Perfect video!
Thank you, you saved me some time.

Hi FixitSam...i purchased a 32W 220v ballast. The circular flourescent lamp is now working. Is there a way to dissipate heat coming from the ballast?
Great video
Hi, thanks for explanation. I have a question, Is it poosibe to use the fluorescent lamp ballasts for UVC lamps? Thanks in advance
im reading 146 ohms on a 2x8w ballast 230v, does this sound correct?
Thank you,
Are you afraid to check one under load?

There is a lot more to fully testing the ballast than just checking the continuity of the primary winding.
what other test.? can you elaborate more.? i still new in this
And what else?
Usually ballast are ok when tested but they fail to light the fluorescent light bulb
