My God. Thank you for this. I’m obsessed with Daddy Grace’s time. I was born under Daddy McCollough and was a Madison baby, so I always want to hear things from Daddy Grace’s time.
Sister Gwen Rouse from NY then from Savannah said her mother played piano that night. Sister Ida Jones from Savannah was there that night (gone home now). She said a prominent Elder did the prayer--people who heard the recording later, thought it was Daddy Grace. she said he had an accent similar to that of Daddy Grace.
No. That’s the old Baby Band before they were named the Tigers. In this audio they are playing some of the same songs, backgrounds and runs they played in the 80s. Even some of the bass horn runs I heard Zeb apparently copy and play in the 80s. This audio is a gem.

Same! I actually was not born in the House of Prayer. The only the Bishop I’ve physically known is Daddy Bailey. I am also obsessed w/ Daddy Grace.
The Baby Band before they were called the Tiger's,my Father, Brother Leung was the Best Saxophone Player in the Kingdom.
Wow
Jackie Richardson with the Tambourine Band

I can definitely hear where Billy Boy got his tambourine style from.
