You nailed it bang on. Have the Harbin and my biggest piece of advice is don’t treat it like a cruiser. If you play it like a pan Asian DD with better guns, you’ll be able to squeeze every last ounce out of her. Almost done grinding our Sejong and she’s been a treat. Every game has been t10 sadly, but I managed a 178k game in there. Depends how competent the CV is at keeping you spotted and uncomfortable. Best way to explain this line, is it will punish someone for making mistakes every single game you play it. The question is, is it punishing your mistakes or your opponents. The line from 8-10 is pretty OP, but it’s also high IQ ship. If you can’t pick your spots properly, you’re not going to enjoy this ship at all. But if you love that level of control and complexity, ooooohh boy!!
People still don’t understand the power this ship holds. 84% WR. Was over 100k avg for the longest but hit a good amount of bot matches in a Trio these last weeks. 48% MVP. I mean… it’s not like I play like that on all my ships lol. Nerf does nothing. Happy they nerfed detection due to other…. AA nerf was dumb. Shouldn’t have happens. Gun nerf maybe null….
Once you're spotted, you're dead if you can't smoke up.. Asashio torp range is much better than this and it doesn't take citadel damage. Seems like the gameplay is very one sided. Stealth torp and try not to get spotted. Basically no other way to play this. Plus, you can't help your team cap. And when you need to rely on teammates to distract you target, you can't carry the game
Not true, a good Jinan player will mix stealth torps with teamplay, cap domination and guns. If you don't use ur guns to dominate DD's you will be useless yes.
Jinan will be a fun line to grind, but I'll only grind it once I've mastered Mino. This is such a high risk high reward ship.

That's the 6th sense skill I believe, don't know if it's for legendary commanders only or unlocked at a certain commander level though

Everyone I know that is used to DD gameplay is doing exceptional in this ship. Including myself.
