Thank you guys so much for watching! Thanks for all the comments, I read them all and they are amazing! Love these colander pours. If you want to see more, make sure to subscribe and hit the bell!
I like the brown but I think you stretch the painting a little too much it was much prettier when it was not stretched quite so much I think you could leave a little on the ends uncovered. you can also try a smaller canvas with the same amount of paint on it
I am a newbie and this kaleidoscope look is my fave.. I've tried about 4 times but can't make it happen..i was sooo close last time and think I'm gonna achieve my goal soon...i would love too see you pour on a tall thin canvas..keep on pouring and inspiring!
I _love_ the commentary you’re giving all throughout, where you’re like “I’m doing this this way because if I do it that way, this will happen...” Every other pour video I’ve watched is either overlaid with music or silent, leaving us guessing about what they’re doing and why and how. I appreciate your explanation!
Could you explain how you get nice cells? Do you put silicone in all colors you are pouring? How much silicone? I just get tiny cells but want large cells for my big canvas. Thanks in advance.
This is one of my ultimate favorite pours on RUclips. Your advice to 'bring it back to the center ' also the best advice. The brown here comes out as tan gold and copper. Stunning work♡
I like how you layered the white between colors. It made the finished painting look like it was glowing and lit up from within. And I think the little bit of brown offset the brighter colors nicely to give it more depth. This is one of the best colander pours I've seen.
While I am off for the next 3 days I am going to binge watch your videos and take notes I really want to do some of that hard work I think it is so beautiful and you are absolutely inspiring thank you
Thank you so much! Let me know of you have any questions. My basics videos are quite old, so girl instance, I dint use glue all in many pours any longer. Always check below my video in the description for what pouring medium I used! Have fun!
Molly, that abstract pour paint design is absolutely beautiful. It's perfect with all the imperfections, that's what make's it so special. I love abstract paintings and drawings. I am not an artist, but I have decided to learn how to do abstract painting. Thanks for this awesome video.
It gives me the illusion of being underwater looking up at the surface... absolutely stunning. And I love the brown... I think it adds contrast and depth, like a boat being reflected on the surface or something
I really love this Molly! I had seen a colander pour that someone else had done with a different colander and I didn't like it so I would not watch any video that said it was a colander pour but I saw this one in it's finished state and decided to watch. Was surprised that it was a colander pour. I LOVE all your colander ones. Guess you found just the right one. I found one like it at Walmart and I am inspired to try. The little round things make me think of the peppermint candies they give you at the Sonic drive in. Thank you Molly, you are my favorite!!!!!
Cathie Starnes I agree with seeing other videos on colander pours and turning out nothing like this one, and would also skip all colander pour videos UNTIL NOW thank you Going to go out an buy a colander too.
The brown is a beautiful warm neutral. I think it makes the blue pop. I find with southwestern colors neutral browns/tans work best with rich jewel tone colors.
The thicker paint is surely part of the success in keeping shape, but your mediums are probably the secret weapon to make this work. Beautiful effects! Thanks!
I'm full of swear words of amazement LOL! I can't wait to try it. (I'm super new to paint pouring. Thank you for sharing your paintings and process for us.)
Thank you so much for clarifying for me. I saw one video where the Can is wS covered in some kind of white paint, and another with some kind of silicone. I’m going to try Nd find the beginners you were talking about. Your work is beautiful!
That is beautiful!! I have no talent in art but i wonder if someone who has no talent could make this ??! I love the brown. I think it pulls it all together!
Thanks! I think the are a bunch of people that can learn this artform that dont have an art background. Its like following a painting tutorial, a lesson!
I am looking to do my kitchen counter tops on greens. I was looking toward a malachite type. All of this stuff looks interesting as well. I guess I am going to have to play around. A long counter will have to be shortened 4 times to do it. I guess I will keep watching how your guys do this stuff and see what happens. The design on this one is really beautiful. I was wanting to do some agate with crystals too. Have to do a bunch of small ones and see what comes up.
Amazing!!!! I hate brown, but honestly, the brown really sets off the other colors. I tend to put black and white in all my paintings. Mainly to get that 3D look.
Umm love your work. Our family will be going back to school with you, 4 yr old will love this. I love this. I remember as a kid, doing simular on a fast spinning canvas, those mories stayed with me forever, Thank you. time again
@@MOLLYSARTISTRY the thanks goes to you. My girl Fiona-leeanne (Flee) I know will roll her sleaves up and love this from start to finish. Hi you should definitely try it you're going to love it floetrol is a paint conditioner it's what a lot of fluid artists use to make the paint more fluid and it extends drying time as for PM that's stands for pouring medium which is a generalized term that people use for what to make their paint fluid with I would definitely suggest watching a bunch of beginner videos but it's really about making acrylic paint fluid and then pouring it in different ways on the canvas to create different designs you can do so with all kinds of different mediums that's why I think watching a bunch of different videos is a good idea it's really fun I absolutely love it some people use silicone some people don't I do a mixture of both and both come out very beautiful also I would recommend joining a couple Facebook groups there is a acrylic pouring for beginners group that has some really useful and helpful information in it
Absolutely gorgeous. What kind of gloss medium are you talkin about? I've only always used floetrol but obviously you're not talking about floetrol so please explain because I just love what you did. Thank you so much.
😍 love all these that you do!! I’ve tried but think my paint was too thin. I was happy with my result even though it looked nothing like yours...I’m not giving up though... you’ve inspired me to keep at it ❤️❤️
Thank you! I would thicken them up! The effect really pops with thicker paint. And I use gloss medium and varnish in my PM. I saw your videos though they were still pretty!
most beautiful painting. I love it and the brown is nice it brings out the other colours 🌻🌻🌻🌻❤️ amazing artist 🌻it looks like a flower or like it's under the water beautiful

I don't mind the brown at all. I think this is an amazing outcome! I'm going to buy a colander TODAY! LOL!
I agree with Georgia the brown thinned out to add highlights and a light contrast for depth. Very nice effect! (I'm no artist!)
It became brown, but it was orange... ;)
Just what I wrote down for my things to buy as well!
i liked it as well, the resin one tho ........gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The brown looked just right. Very nice
I DO like the brown. I think it’s the center of contrast. Amazing!!
I really love this one. The colors are so pretty when it come out... was not so sure when I saw the colors to be used but wow!! It’s magnificent!!
Love this piece....beautiful crazy effects absolutely! Thanks for sharing😊
The brown is lovely. Perfect contrast to the blue.
I just came home from work and did an acrylic pour I wish I would of watched this first. I would have tried this technique. Very pretty!
