They cerainly are. Mine came in blister pack (canada), almost a deal breaker, bough it anyways since I had my heart set on it.
Amazing built quality, no regrets but a cardboard box would have been nice since I am more of a collector these days than a plinker. Worth the money!

You can hear the quality of the action sounds like the real thing . Better gun then the peacemaker.
I’ve heard from a few sources that the bb shells and pellet shells work both ways , I’m ordering me one with two sets extra pellet shells , and some crazy penetrating pellets along with some solid slugs 😊

I am the same, I only have replica’s with a drop out mag. Love revolvers though, I have a Dan Wesson 715. I love it.
It was also sold under the name Sheridan Cowboy.
I have both, but prefer the one branded Remington 1875, because it looks more authentic.

Yes I've had the Black powder revolver out for a shoot, I was pleasantly surprised by it. Going to wait for it to warm up a bit before I get back out shooting again....the video will be along soon.

I've had mine for about 3 months. Not fired yet but left the gas in. Will it still be ok or with this have broke it ?

Are you really aiming it on the center of the target? I will be prostated if I use it for plinking. It will not hit the target.
CO 2 is gas mind so is air!
i have a remington 1875 worked for 3 days.....cant even find out who to send to have fixed...crossman doesnt touch it

No not had any issues with it so far.

The Umarex SAA 45 Peacemaker in silver is a better gun, I get 130 odd pellets to a 12g gas cartridge and out of my 4 co2 guns it is by far the most accurate, l was interested in this gun until l read a lot or reports of it breaking in a few days, usually the seals, but often the hammer or trigger. Plus it's so similar to the Colt peacemaker there's hardly any point in buying it, now if it had the octaganol barrel of some Remingtons l would consider buying it.

You shouldn't the gun won't last long if you do.
can you use it for varmints
It shoots at almost 3 joules, so not the most powerful, but it is accurate. I probably wouldn't recommend it for killing, due to the power. A Crosman 2240 might be better.

I recently got one of these, but I got the one in the Remington blister pack. What's the difference between the Remington and Crosman version?
I've no idea, this one came in a blister pack too, definitely made by Crosman.
My crossman came in blister pack also.
any idea how long it holds gas?
Sorry I don't know, I never usually leave them with gas in.
Never leave in gas they harden the seals and your gun will soon be broken.

Sorry but mine broke after 2 days. Its junk. Dont waste your money.
Mines solid, and according to a lot of the comments on here, they have all been pretty good.
I've heard it often breaks in a few days which is why l never bought it, plus its similarity to the Peacemaker which l got from Umarex and is a far superior gun.
Hi Mad Dog. Great review. I just got my 1875 a few days ago. Shot count with pellets is up to 78 good shots per co2 can. But my gun doesn't shoot as hard as advertised. I did have some misfires with pellets also, not pushing them too far into the bullets seemed to help. I was using my fingernail to really jam them in. I'm not sure that that's what solved the problem, but it works fine now. :-)
