Sonny was the best out of them all, and it looked like she was fighting to stay awake. she also kinda looks like Emilia Clarke. James #1 was good and clearly had molded his voice to suit Sam Smith's style. James #2 was a total rockstar for doing improv on Dance Monkey in a much higher key.
tbh i didn't really like listening to Sonnie... in her first song she sounded kinda pitchy i thought at some point but i guess it was a nasty time for her lol

Sonnie's second performance and pop James's last performance were my favourites, but rock James was really cool. It was fun to hear a really different vocal style than the other contestants
Props to everyone for being willing to just sing on a video chat like that! I love love loveeeeee singing but only sang growing up in choir and at home with the family.

I hate how ppl in the comments say "they picked wrong" like, they didn't, they picked the ones they liked as judges should do. I also realised that ppl in the comments don't like what the judges picked but personally, if I was there, I would pick the same as the judges who picked the ones who got to the next round
as commenters we have the right to spread our opinions as well, some of us are respectful with our opinions others not so much but still, we do have a right to tell what we felt and thought as we watched the video
judges who dont know good talent if it hit them in the face... Ive watched Tristan and Roomie's videos before judging bad live signing and saying it was good. Like no it wasnt....

Zoha’s voice was more simple, it took less risks, but the intonations and overall timbre of the voice was awesome! She never overdid it, never dressed it up too much, but hit those notes beautifully. Particularly on the last song it was very, very impressive.

Fantastic video, i particularly liked my cameo of a floating head in the waiting room (I was on reserve in case one of the singers dropped out) but even being there the whole time I didnt know anything about the prize. Incredible, congrats James, you're an awesome dude and you totally deserve it.

I just realised that they likely did two takes, because the camera angles in call and the zoom ins on their face are different, it is most clear with Joel as his background is different each each cut and the saturation is also different

Don't win in the mini games or you won't make the semi finals
Who cares James won, he would have won regardless even if the other James made it

I love how Roomie exposes the contestants before they sing. Also, good job to the people who did it, it would be so nerve-racking singing in front of Daniel, Tristan, and Roomie ALL AT ONCE, even on a video call.
Suggestion: All judges will reveal their choice at the same time to avoid accusation of thinking their decision has been manipulated.
