Wow. Why on earth would you ever cut individual strands one by one???? You can make a spool where the circumference is the desired length, wind the wire on the spool, then cut the wire down the length of the spool. BAM! All the same length wires in a fraction of the time. BONUS: use a drill to wind the spool.
