    Hi Courtney, I know this is an older video, but I have a question about waterslides. I have always wondered if it matters that you mirror your pictures? I have always mirrored them but I have always wondered if the waterslide has a side that is suppose to be in contact with the surface?

      Hi! I mirror them because I lay them face down. If I did not mirror them since I lay them face down they would be backwards. Everyone lays them down different ways. Either way is right its just what is easiest for you

      what happens if you use white waterslide paper instead of clear? I mean can you use white for anything? i accidentally bought white. oops

      @@stacietate8336 no, white water slide can only be used if it’s cut directly around the design with no background showing. Then you can put it on any color and it’ll show up. But you can’t apply white water slide paper face down

    I notice you don’t tape the top of the tumblers for the edges. How come?

    Okay very new to wsterslides... please help. In your videos you say you paintrd the tumbler, why do you paint them and with what? Do yoi have to seal them after

      I always do a base coat of rustoleum spray paint if that’s what you’re referring to. And I cover my tumblers in epoxy 😊

    What is the black box on the water slide for if you cut it off? I don't understand.

      That’s for your cricut machine to detect where your waterslide image is if you want it to cut it out for you

    This might sound silly asking but can you use a regular vinyl decal instead of a waterslide and get the same effect?

      There are some printed vinyls you can use. As long as the image you’re going for isn’t too detailed you can use vinyl

    Did you epoxy the cup after the paint dried? I’ve added waterslide straight on the paint and you could see the outline of the waterslide

    how do you keep the epoxy from getting inside the cup

      There’s some that gets inside but the next day when it’s cured I just take an exacto knife and scrape it out

      I use a body pillow and an app called color story. I made a video on how I photograph my tumblers😊

      @@CourtneysCustoms wow! I always understood if you used an inkjet printer you had to spray your water slides so they wouldn’t bleed.

      @@CourtneysCustoms ah ok.. it’s just the way you apply them. I slide them on upright, with the paper part on the bottom. Sooo interesting, I’m definitely going to try it your way, seems easier.

    Every time I wash the spray pant the water leaves marks on the spray paint, what am I doing wrong?

      After rinsing the cup off, lightly pat it dry with a paper towel. There will be water spots but mine went away after epoxy

      Hi !! I use an Epson expression home. It’s a super old dinosaur printer from Walmart lol !! It was given to me by a friend when I first started making my own water slides and it’s been amazing !! I actually went and bought a brand new printer a few months ago and returned it a couple days later and went back to my old one lol

      @@Msd2163 yep I use the same setting !! Sometimes I’ll have some ink smears and I just go into the settings of my printer and clean the heads

    What did you do to address the water bubble rough spots after hosing it off and letting it drip dry?

      Before it was totally dry I lightly patted with a paper towel. After epoxy it looked completely smooth

      Nope !! As long as it’s just paint and not glitter u don’t have to epoxy first
