  • Hey everybody welcome back to another episode of Muddy Reviews, in this video we are checking out the Spiritus Systems Fat Straps MK4 in M81 woodland camo. These were being utilized on the Tracer Tactical Stout Scout compact chest rig, this set of straps are a fantastic upgrade for your Airsoft chest rig or real world rig.
I received these straps to review with a series if items from a viewer, I have enjoyed the other Spiritus items and their repros I have checked out aready. I would reccomend these for your Airsoft micro chesr rig as they are comfortable and have numerous lashing points for PTTs and strobes. If you like these straps you can get them directly from Spiritus Systems here:

You can also fiind these straps over at OPTACTICAL as well here:

I hope you got something out of this review and you may have found yourself a new set of chest rig straps for your load carriage needs. As always folks get out there and play some airsoft, LARP smarter, Not harder, and above all else take care.

How does this compare to the tracer tac harness? Notice any difference in comfort or pack compatability between the two?

Sadly, the Tracer rig that was sent to me had these FAT Straps on it. I will reach out to the original owner and see if he had the tracer straps and, if so, why he upgraded. I have used the stock Onward Research straps from their recce rig, and they are nice, but the Spiritus straps are lighters and softer. But both straps were good under a ruck, so I honestly think it would come down to laser cut vs. standard webbing style and brand preference and recognition.

I hate the fat straps. I don't have a real reason, they just feel extremely weird on my body. They would be okay with buckle height adjustment maybe. The Crye Airlite is functionally fixed but feels ten times better

I agree with your assessment, I would like the ride height ability but the fatstraps are comfortable on me. I do like the Lunar Concepts HX more though.
