The size of the wheels might be completely up to the rider but keep in mind the wider the deck the larger the diameter should be so you aren't scraping the ground with the deck edges on even the slightest of angles :D
I've been out of touch from scootering from over a decade. Shit was simple when I used to ride, come to find now there is 125mm wheels, all these different thicknesses n shit lol, crazy. Same with decks, the standard when I rode was 4.5 or 4.25. I miss the days of 100mm YAK and Eagle metalcores on the front and stock Razer wheels on the back on a Razer Pro in 2009 lmao
thinking about coming back to scootering but my wheels, grips and griptape is cooked aswell as my bars keep going unaligned because of my compression system being rubbish atm but anyways thanks for the guide
What is your favorite deck length? I'm riding a 6x24 and I'm considering 22, 22.5, and 23. Also playing with the idea of 6.5. I'm 5'11 and don't do more than a double and an occasional triple. I like your style of riding and I'm curious about your favorite dimensions and why?
Don't change your bearings unless they are broke: I wished I watched this a year ago, I have a really nice pair of Aztek 30x115 that I ruined changing the bearings. They ride fine but my scoot just sounds undialled and janky when I put them on. Should have cleaned/regreased the old bearings in situ. They are expensive wheels and I just can't bear to ride them
Yuppp, changing bearings in scooter wheels isn’t like changing bearings in a skateboard I learned that mistake the hard way. But I’m glad I learned on some bad wheels and not good ones
😂😂 where are the 10s 😂😂😂 No they go to 9 but theses ones go to eleven 😂😂 like spinal tap. Seems odd that old jd bug and yak had hubs that had extra moulding too have urethane flow through .
Helpful video but reckon your online store needs some work? Despite the video describing these things your online store: 1. lists wheels described as "ABEC 11" 2. lists wheels with no PU info at all (eg. Grit) .. to be fair Grit themselves do a rubbish job of that 3. your online store uses supplier claims like " special C formula" for the wheel with no PU (eg. UrbanArtt) ... what is it? Great videos and you guys look like the real deal but might be an idea to better describe your products than the vague hype you get from your suppliers?

I have no idea what you’re talking about tbh. This isn’t my store.. all information regarding the wheels and bearings are authentic and genuine.

5:11 @raymondwarner
Notice how he used root industries to show that the bearings fall out bc that the only wheel that does that 😂😂😂😂
