They need to have a new guest every episode too. Would love to see Paul Rudd and Aubrey Plaza again cause they have the best chemistry with Conan as well
I love that scene at the monastery... there were those windchimes which drove Conan to the brink of utter madness - and Steven explained to the monk in Korean - quite dryly - that Conan has "a lot of issues"😂😂😂
This is so cool to hear as a Korean American. Over the past few years, I saw the popularity of Korean stuff growing, in dramas in the states and now everywhere with music, and of course food. I always wonder what someone with no Korean background sees in Koreans and this was so cool to hear Conan's perspective.
She played along very well, yeah, unexpectedly great sense of humor from an etiquette teacher. I just imagine people of such professions to be very stiff
I remember the original video. It was so much fun seeing you guys go around and experience something together. The temple segment was so funny to witness! XD
Rewatched the remote in Korea visiting the Buddhist temple just yesterday! What a timing. Love you guys podcast been following you since I was a young teen. Much love from Sweden!
Steven came a long way. When he first starred in Lost, his Korean was so bad that it became a meme on Korean side of the internet. Now, compared to those days, he speaks flawlessly in Minari. It’s not easy to master a language in adulthood, but he did it.
@@ROYCEJR. What's the Walking Dead and who is Glenn? Just kidding, of course everyone knows he played Glenn. It's like watching a Michael J Fox interview and commenting "He played Marty in Back to the Future you know!"
One part of that trip that was a bit scary was when they went to the DMZ. They actually got to go inside one of the conference room buildings that divide North and South Korea. It did look a little tense for a bit, but it's still worth a look.
Conan and Steven’ trip to Korea was one of my favorites! So much fun haha. If they visit Korea again, I can definitely guide them in an authentic way to look around here. ;)
Ranton, a former Shaolin disciple, commented on this before. He said that everywhere you go, people are people. Almost all the young monks he lived and trained with all had phones, watched streamers, played videogames, etc.
Conan’s assessment on South Korea’s social media being hyper sensitive is so very true. Not only on social media, but life and society in general. Very extreme.
It's toxic. Koreans also have the lowest digital literacy rate in the world meaning they can't tell apart whether something said on the internet is fake or not. They just believe any accusation thrown to them and eat it up like a braindead zombie mob, which is why hate spreads so quickly. I'm Korean myself and it's really disgusting to see this happen all the time to anyone.
I can still vividly remember that one second scene shifted over to the satellite disc with a gong sound effect right after Conan was asking whether the monk watched TV.
Conan's abroad trips during the show remain some of the most entertaining ENTERTAINMENT i've ever experienced - book, show, movie, etc. I feel like the KPOP community as a whole has always wanted to ask Conan if he knows just how massive TWICE (the younger girl group he shot with) became. WG were already known legends but TWICE were rookies at the time. They've gone on to become one of the top five selling girl groups of all time and it still kind of blows my mind that i first saw them THROUGH CONAN of all people? It really says a lot that a PoC immigrant to America discovered a multi-national kpop group through a remote set done by a white irish guy going to korea with his korean-american friend. Our world is so massive and so small at the same time.
What Steven talks about, any Asian American/westerner has had that same realization lol. I'm a backpacker, started backpacking when I was in college. First trip I did was with some friends to Thailand. They were all blonde white kids and I'm Asian. It was very very noticeable how they get HOUNDED by merchants while I was mostly ignored because they just assumed I was a tour guide. We also had very different experiences in Europe. I would get targeted by pickpockets and robbery (I got into so many physical fights) by gypsies and African migrants, while my white friends were largely left alone. When I went to report this stuff to the police, they would tell me how Asian tourists ARE in fact targeted at least 10x more and that I should be careful. It was very interesting to see how the rest of the world sees race.
My grandpa was in the Korean war and when I was a kid he would sing something like "In Korea it's mighty cold and wet, and those discharge papers are mighty hard to get!"
I have to check this out. I loved Conan's trip to Japan, especially with the two women who were teaching him etiquette and insulting him at the same time.
"Eureka! It gets cold in Korea!" LMAO Amazing discovery, Conan. Amazing discovery Yes, it gets cold in Korea. We call it winter 🤣🤣 I love both of these men
Conan's Korea trip is still one of my favorite episodes he has ever done. These two need to go back.
Ikr...nd also renting family in Japan nd north korea border is my a time fav
My favorite ruclips.net/video/DwfL-UKHO74/видео.html
I second this motion✋
Imagine if he was black 🚬🤔
Same and yup to the Japanese family, too. And, of course, the Italy trip with Jordan was perfection.
"You can't hurt me now, Mr. Lee. I've lost all feelings" lol
The battalions in the mountains, on the north side! You’ll never see them coming 😂😂😂
Nothing will ever compare to the pure joy on Steven Yeun's face as he spun around and shouted because Conan had won a claw game
Conan and Steven should do a show together. I would love to watch them just go places and goof around for 45 minutes an episode.
"It has uhh... Whatever my mom puts in."
Best food guide ever.
Like Anthony Bourdain if he knew absolutely nothing ...
🤣🤣🤣

I rewatch those Conan in korea videos and laugh like it was my first time watching it. Please go again! 😂
Conan in Korea and Japan was hilarious. That Japanese etiquette teacher was savage.
Kkj
She is unforgettable 😆
So was the Korean teacher.
She played along very well, yeah, unexpectedly great sense of humor from an etiquette teacher. I just imagine people of such professions to be very stiff
The Korea spa episode is literally GOAT
Agreed!! That was the funniest episode for sure!! 😂😂😂
Conan seriously needs a travel show....
I know it needs a lot of budget and planning and human hands...and country permissions and what not.
His trips abroad were always the best! I hope he expands “Conan Without Borders”
I always figured that's what his HBO Max show was going to be.
RUclipsrs does this successfully and they don't need TV money to do it.
you got your wish!
Oh boy do I have news for you
These two have the best chemistry
would love if they went back and visited some of the people they filmed with last trip. Conan revisits korea would be awesome
His Korean language lesson is an all time segment.
Conan once again proves he’s a genuine genius at spotting talent and befriending them before they become huge stars.
I remember the original video. It was so much fun seeing you guys go around and experience something together. The temple segment was so funny to witness! XD
I still can't believe you guys did a MV with JYP, Twice, and Wonder Girls! The whole Korea series was amazing and hilarious.
제발 다시 한국에 와줘요 코난!
The monastery trip was really fun. Especially the iPhone and the android bit and the last part when they were playing around the snow.
Rewatched the remote in Korea visiting the Buddhist temple just yesterday! What a timing. Love you guys podcast been following you since I was a young teen. Much love from Sweden!
Please make another trip to Korea!! That would be so cool!
I would watch Conan's trip to Korea whenever I want to laugh hard
"Burning", "Minari", and "Nope" in the last 4 years is a great run, definitely one of my favorite actors right now.
Also "Sorry to Bother You" & "The Humans" which were fantastic.
Steven came a long way. When he first starred in Lost, his Korean was so bad that it became a meme on Korean side of the internet. Now, compared to those days, he speaks flawlessly in Minari. It’s not easy to master a language in adulthood, but he did it.
@@saynotop2w Steven wasn't in Lost. Are you sure you're not thinking of someone else?
Hello? Walking Dead? Glenn? Maggie's boyfriend?
@@ROYCEJR. What's the Walking Dead and who is Glenn? Just kidding, of course everyone knows he played Glenn. It's like watching a Michael J Fox interview and commenting "He played Marty in Back to the Future you know!"
We all would love to see more complete versions of the international episodes! There has to be more footage!
One part of that trip that was a bit scary was when they went to the DMZ. They actually got to go inside one of the conference room buildings that divide North and South Korea. It did look a little tense for a bit, but it's still worth a look.
The weather segment was worth its weight in pairs of aviator sunglasses.
To be fair, it's actually a tourist destination so a ton of tourists visit there all the time
And Steven Yuen made literal histpry of having a weather report in north korea🤣
these two truly like and enjoy each other
Love them both! Conan is one of the few that can properly mix funny and respectful. He’s hilarious and also so genuine. ❤
This is so awesome, what a wonderful conversation
I always click when it's Conan and Steven Yeun content! :)
Conan and Steven’ trip to Korea was one of my favorites! So much fun haha. If they visit Korea again, I can definitely guide them in an authentic way to look around here. ;)
No doubt I´m going to rewatch the trip now right away...
Loved the original video. Its a unique place to visit for the good

Ranton is such a legendary RUclipsr
That guy is cringe
I revisit the jimjilbang episode often after all these years. It is one of the funniest things ever done in comedy 😂
I miss "Conan without borders" so much!! please release another season, it was so funny
Conan’s assessment on South Korea’s social media being hyper sensitive is so very true. Not only on social media, but life and society in general. Very extreme.
Bc they highly value very superficial qualities that in their eyes are incredibly important to move up the ladder in Korea
It's toxic. Koreans also have the lowest digital literacy rate in the world meaning they can't tell apart whether something said on the internet is fake or not. @@tld7661"very superficial" like what?
These two makes a brilliant combo!
The spa was one of the funniest remotes for me too.
I was teaching kids in korea and would show that video of Conan and Steven in Korea which delighted them
I can still vividly remember that one second scene shifted over to the satellite disc with a gong sound effect right after Conan was asking whether the monk watched TV.
The Spa skit is a classic.
steven and conan are the best combo!
This duo is amazing! Can we vote with likes that Conan take Steven to Ireland! It would be so hilarious!
Absurdity follows Conan everywhere he goes. I love it.
PLEASE start releasing full, filmed podcast episodes on RUclips!!!
The Wi Spa remote is my FAVORITE. I go back to that clip almost every month or something. The SKor ep is also as hilarious.
Never change.
I loved when he went to Korea with Steve 😂🤣 I still remember that monastery scene in the winter!
These two really had a good chemy. I ❤ em both dearly.
That North Korea soldier interaction by Conan was one of the most tense moments in my life
The spa episode made me cry laugh. I still look it up from time to time.
i loved that Korea trip, these two make a great pair
When Steven and Conan are together, it's always a hoot
I just love Steven x Conan duo!
Can’t remember now how many times I’ve rewatched their remotes!! Rofl
I search for Conana and Steven content. Always makes me laugh.

That’s really interesting! Did he say why Asian tourists are targeted more over there?
They got to be in a video with a very new TWICE. Love that song.
I like the way Steven giggles.
The Spa episode was hilarious. Poor Conan having to get naked. 🤣
Poor cameraman had to record them hahahaha (I love Conan but ... he's better clothed)
I've watched that episode a million times. So happy their talking about it
That jjimjilbang ep was an absolute LEGEND
I used to watch that old korea visit video on the night before my engineering exams to relieve from exam stress
코난의 유머가 너무 좋아요 ㅋㅋ 팬이예요. 한국에 또 방문해주세요.
okay real talk tho the wi spa video carried me through my grief when my dad passed away 🥲
Gosh I love those clips and I love conan’s humor.
It's about bloody time you got steven on
That trip is one of my favorite 👍👍😂😂😂😂
Please bring back Conan without borders...... I need it...mm
Steven is awesome
I miss conan's show 😢😍😍
My grandpa was in the Korean war and when I was a kid he would sing something like "In Korea it's mighty cold and wet, and those discharge papers are mighty hard to get!"
Please come back and live with us!
Monastery part was my fave 😊
I feel like that remote at the spa was the start of a new style of remotes for conan. Idk that's just me
I love that Conan is the first to acknowledge and mock his own lack of information I wish more people were like him. “Yes I remember that in MASH”😂
Stevens hat is awesome. My favorite movie
Next Netflix series should have Conan, Steven...and Yoo Jae Suk.
That would be amazing!!!!
That’s a great idea
Bruh what a epic line up!!!
That sounds amazing!
my jaw dropped imagining this .. someone needs to make this happen
Glad I was in Korea PRE social media
Conan always makes my day !
1:50 Conan immediately said yes 😂😂
Team. s ocool ~🤩
I was crying laughing when I first saw this 😂😂
we’re waiting for you 🇰🇷🇰🇷🇰🇷
1:59 so catching words 😂😂😂
Awww I wanted to hear what Stephen Yuen had to say

Conan's trip to Korea and Japan are still so amazing!
am still looking for a full version of the Jimjilbang song
I hope you do another sone with JYP. That "Fire" song was unironically fire. If you don't know, look it up, it's so good.
great podcast...LMBO the whole time....
사랑해요 코난 #아이코난!
Miss jimjilbangs so much….I’m rewatching that skit. After this
3:54 lol it’s reminds me of Marvel’s She-Hulk, where Wong has all the channels at Kamar Taj
Conan, you should definitely go to Thailand, it will be interesting for you and change your perspectives.
