“Catch n release shoplifter” 😂 Dana picked up on Theo pretty quick and settled right in.
Straight up ! Hahahah
So good
LOL
Wayne's World is an unbelievable event and place.
It’s wild how like-able Theo is. The dude’s endearing. I was a bit disenchanted at first when Carvey was giving off douche vibes correcting certain words and a bit pompous at the beginning. However, you could tell he relaxed and just got comfy. It became much better to watch and both gelled. Glad to see both got along.
If you can make Dana, a living comedian legend, laugh and be engaged you’re an interesting fella. Well done Theo.
How beautiful to see Dex and Dana. Dex has since passed away. My ❤ goes out to Dana and family. Lovely pod cast ❤
Theo looks like a mixture of three celebrities, Patrick Swayze in Point Break, Kevin Bacon in footloose, and Josh Brolin in Goonies!
That's a great formula: Theo's random creative ideas mixed with Dana bringing it to life with his characters. THAT would be a show.
cool name
Theo, you put smiles on millions of faces. I hope you know how much we appreciate you, man.
He’s such a god damn legend
Dylan?!

Preach! Gang gang.
I just read that Dex passed away from an accidental drug overdose in December. I can't even imagine what Dana and his wife are going through.
Happening to everyone...and unfortunately doesn't look like there's an end in sight. Nobody influential enough cares enough. They were never particularly good at detoxing people off of heroin. Fent is a whole new kind of beast, but only the most wealthy can access good detox options. It's even worse that in addition to all the addiction we have innocents, babies even, dying from accidental exposure.
Whoever is responsible for this, and I think it's been a combination of ppl and things but they are succeeding at killing more Americans than any evil terrorist could dream of. It's heartbreaking, really fkn guts me to the core with what the surviving families go through. Where are the protests demanding change? So many parents have lost children, so many children have lost parents and nobody cares...it's tragic. My heart goes out to Dana, I just hate knowing over 150 families go through this EVERY day. It's really fkn heartbreaking 😢
Sadness

Shocked to find out Dana is 67 years old! He looks great and is still sharp as a knife. True legend.
Wow! Dana doesn't look 67yrs old; I'm 54yrs old, people say, I look young when they meet me. And I smoked cigarettes 28yrs I quit 8yrs ago
@@sumofme1 Dana had some very serious

it was heart related, but could have died ,

Used to watch Dana choppin Broccoli back in the day, now he's choppin it up with my man Theo. Lets gooo
Dana hit an emotion I've been feeling more lately, with the dream or a memory. Beautiful
What an awesome episode, and by the way Dana is 67 years old, but looks like he's 45 and have an energy of a 25 year old
Wild
Wow. That’s awesome.
He has a hat and pilot shades on...his grey beard looks young or what do you mean?
I think he doesn't look like he's 45, but still, like, 55, so, yeah, kind of remarkable : )
lol thats not what 45 looks like
2 hours and 25 mins with Theo and Dana Carvey? I'll take it!
You forgot to say no homo
If you take it, just remember to bring it back; other people want to watch it, too.

Just e-mailed this link to my brothers and typed the '2 1/2 hours' in BOLD. Thats it, Nothing more needed to be said !!
Theo, the best thing about your podcast is that you talk about your childhood and get your guests to open up about theirs. Ultimately that’s what makes us all who we are so it’s extremely fascinating. To look back and be able to find a way to connect and laugh about our growing pains is what it’s all about, to me. 💛💛💛
beautiful and well said
Underrated comment.
Well said friend .
Many people who go to therapy start to ask everyone childhood questions to guage where they are on the crazy spectrum.
theo sadly didn't experience any maternal love. my guess is that he was an unexpected child and was treated as such til his formative years. I dont' think his mother ever loved him. tolerated him sure. maybe she loves him now thats hes rich and famous though. thus his problems with relationships with women.
You gotta have Dana back. This was my favorite episode by far. A lot of good riffing on memories.
“Anyone can teach preschool, no offense to your mom” 😂😂😂
I love that Theo makes everyone laugh by surprise. It’s delightful!
How does Dana not know everyone who was stupid enough to get a toxic injection GOT sick with the Boogey virus anyway?

The Japanese accent part of the podcast was the FUNNIEST thing I have heard. I haven’t laughed that hard in a long time
I replayed that about 10 times, the unbridled thrill that fills Dana when Theo opens the door to do the Japanese accent, like he could not wait to reciprocate that after he initially was worried what he was doing could be “offensive” 😅 such a pure moment of comedy
Yeah my god I was laughing as hard as that accent
Theo needs an animated series based on his childhood
Every episode would start with
There was this one guy.....
Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Make it yourself. I'd watch it
loved Dana since 87, wonderful to see his boys all grown up, Dana is so funny
Dana's HBO standup back in the day, might still be the hardest I've ever laughed in my life

Dana’s genius impersonations and theo’s original thought processes. These two should be writing or making movies/podcasts more regularly. 2 peas in a dang old pod
20 minutes in and I gotta say this has to be one of the weirdest discussions I've heard Theo have with someone 🤣
Thanks for this comment, I thought it was just me. The subject kept changing so fast I was getting whiplash! I kept thinking, did I miss something? or is it just an awful editing job. Have never seen or heard Dana act so hyper. Love both these guys though.
I also came to the comments thinking the same thing! Theo was passin’ Dana and Dana was passin’ Theo and then they finally began to meet and get on rhythm.
It was different as Theo is all over the place. If you think this conversation is weird check out the one with Louis CK and Theo

That Obama impersonation -- "Jack and Jill" was hysterical. These two are so funny together.
I was super happy and unexpected to see freakin' Dana Carvey on your podcast! I love hearing you and Dana's childhood memories.
Holy Chit. Carvey is the GOAT. This is like having Richard Pryor or George Carlin on TPW. It shows how far Theo has come.
Love these types of podcasts. All unique personal experiences, all laughs and having a good time. None of the political nonsense in a lot of the content nowadays.

Theo is such a pure soul. 😊
As a Louisiana resident (H-town), I relate with Theo and his childhood a lot, that being said, I enjoy how he brings out the origin of others personalities and then compounds on the similarities and differences. Theo is relatable because he shows genuine interest within the confounds of his own humor. Always good content. God bless this double edged sword we call the internet!
Sorry for the silly foreigner question but what is H-Town?
This was effing phenomenal. Dana is still funny as hell, transcendent humor. Thanks for putting this out there Theo.
I love how guys like Dana Carvey and Kevin Pollak work impersonations into all their conversations

I never laughed so hard at Dana’s impressions
Theo seems concerned for our culture, and I share that sentiment. Obviously when guys like Dana were in their prime it was like a golden age in America for things like comedy and music.. everything. It was like one big party that lasted decades, now it seems like the party's over. I think its important to keep trying to have fun and be creative. To have an imagination. Its not just important, there's nothing more important. We've got to keep good vibes alive, and bring them back.
Man we just gotta clean up the mess from the party at some point... then maybe we wouldn’t be embarrassed to have more people over
Dana Carvey is such a talented guy. The Wayne’s World movies are classics! Looks like Theo’s making a lot of the right friends, that’s for sure!
