@@hughfar4807not really - yes you are getting 300*1.8 hp, but look at any other frontliner: Warden‘s just reduce damage by X%, so even if your HP number isn‘t bigger your eHP is also getting a multiplicative increase.
Same with Behemoths getting more armor and MR: resistances and health scale with each other multiplicatively.
Finally there is Annie frontline who just has HP scaling in her ability.
All frontlines benefit from HP in a similar way.
People just get baited by a larger number they can see instead of a large number that does things invisibly in the background which makes this myth survive so long.
Obviously on 8 bruisers, when the Hp scales your damage as well, there is an argument to be made, but I don’t think that was clear when it was picked?
