I don’t think it is possible no, the sounds are not found in any of the folders that are accessible from the FILES App on either a tablet or cell phone. It would be my assumption that the audio sounds are imbedded into the software and can only be updated by app updates by the creator. Send them some feedback on what you’d like to see, or better yet see if they can make the sound library similar to that of the car library where you can add sounds. Some audio clips from RUclips videos would be a good start for some new sounds!
I used this for the first time last night with a couple of buddies, and I chose the "Dynamic" option for the Time Table Sorting, because I wanted the car that was in first place at the top of the list, then 2nd below it, and third below 2nd. The problem was, the placement was only using the fastest lap as the deciding factor for the placement of the race, and not the Laps. This annoyed the hell out of us last night. Why the hell wouldn't they add the option for actual Lap placement to be listed in order on the screen from 1st place and down, you know, like all other races ever done, because that is the entire point of the race?????? I couldn't believe this feature wasn't available, as it's the entire reason for my wanting the app in the first place. You don't automatically become 1st place for the entire race based on your single best lap time, in hopes that nobody else can beat that 1 lap time moving you down to 2nd until you can possibly beat that record lap time, that's ridiculous... Am I missing something here, or did they really do that?
I will have to look into this the next time I have some folks over for racing. Are you certain you’re not running a qualifying session instead of a race session? It would make sense that the person with the fastest lap would be moved to the top of the chart in qualifying
@@Sunshine_Speedway_SlotCars No, I'm pretty sure it was just a race. We did a few races and same thing. Unless you have to have a qualifying session before each race? I chose the race option though. Great video for a newbie like me :-) at 13:30 , we can see speeding info for Batman #2....is the sector must be activated to be able to see the speed ?
When you set up your track info on the main screen you can input the length of your track in centimeters. The app does some mathematical magic to determine a ‘scale speed’ of the car based on its lap time. I hope that helps!
Sectors… who knew I needed sectors. ?smart race help section on why my sectors not working g. Well I need the Carrera 30371 Check Lane, which I don’t have at moment. My question any way to get it to work without that part? I learned German right left straight curved. Cut and pasted to the track info. Only for it not to work 😢well. It is an awesome video thank you. I am going to get that check lane asap if there isn’t a work around. Thank you again for the RUclips videos.
No unfortunately the sector timing piece is required to measure the timestamp of the car passing through the gate. You won’t regret adding them into your track. Once you do the sector timing code should work
HI..loved ths video, thanks for posting. I was wondering if you could help with an ap issue. I just have the stand alone ap and adons, however I am having trouble with the fuel feature. I am using the base fuel function, but whenever I start a reace, each driver starts immediatle with an empty tank on the ap. It never changes even if we go into the pit and fill up, it always stays at 0 on the ap. Any insite would be appreciated.
I can't get this to work on my IPhone. it's asking me for my IP address to connect and then will not connect. I have solid blue "bluetooth" connect light but the app will not launch. Any suggestions?

@@Sunshine_Speedway_SlotCars If you have a "normalize" option in your audio or video editing software this will level out the volume of audio file and in this case would make the distortion less ear piercing. :-) But TY for the detailed video
The sector timing widget is such a cool thing they’ve added. It makes me want to build a much larger track just to get a third one built into the diagram 😂
The SmartRace app isn’t really geared towards drag racing. The start of the race uses the 5 lights on the CU as well as the overhead start gantry lights, but there’s a bit of disconnect between when the lights go out and the start of the race. For some folks it’s easy to jump start as the anticipated start moment isn’t always what you’d expect - there’s a bit of a delay. If you were hard pressed to use it you could, all you’d have to do is set up a split time track piece at the finish line as use the sector 1 time as your finish time
Great Video, I am having trouble refueling. I have the fuel bar at 100% at the start of the race. It shows the decrease in percentage of fuel but, when we pit we can not get the car to fill back up. Any ideas? Thanks
If you’re pit entry speed is too high sometimes the ‘eye’ of the cars miss the sensor on the track. Sometimes that happens to our racers on track and the only thing you can do is either pick it up roll it over the fuel stop sensor or take another lap with low fuel and enter at a slower speed. @SlotR did a great video on how to use a ‘squeeze’ track piece in place of the stock pit lane entry section. Look for his video titled Carrera Pitlane Entry Upgrade. This could fix your issue👍🏽👍🏽

Great topic. I have downloaded this to use latter. I would like to see more of your beautiful track layout. On thing I am curious to know is that seeing Carrera isn’t producing F1 32 scale. Do you know if I could put a carrera chip in a scalextric F1 32 scale ? Thanks again.
I think there’s are a few specific chips for scalextric cars that are Carrera digital ready. Google search ‘Carson chip’ ‘FT Slot tech in’ and ‘Slot.it SP15C’, one ,at be better sized for F1, but availability varies. Have you considered a digital to analog converter? Then you don’t need to chip any of them (might I suggest an AxelBox 😉😀👍🏽)
@@simonjohnson4000 I have a HDMI to usb-c cable that is 10 feet long at the moment. Some newer TVs you can screen share via your house wifi but my garage signal strength is quite weak, the cable is far more reliable

Can we time drag race on this app?

Im deaf, i have my sound all the way up and i can barely hear it. is it me or the video?
I’ve got my iPad at 1/2 volume and it’s plenty loud. If you are watching on computer external speakers it could be an audio settings issue 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
You could turn on the CC, that seems to work pretty well at a short glance
