    As car enthusiasts, I thought people would know who Mauro is. I'm sure a number of viewers here are fans of Top Gear, and you might recognise him from the Top Gear episode where they filmed the car chase for The Sweeney. Mauro was a drifting champion, and performed stunt driving in a number of famous Hollywood films. I'm pretty sure he knows what he's talking about. Of course, choosing a favourite car is a personal thing, like everyone has a favourite film, so his opinion might not be reflected by other motoring journalists. Some supercars also position the seats very low down, and the dashboard high up. There have been numerous references about this in Top Gear, and one example is when James May drove an Aston Martin in a search for the greatest driving road in the world; however, that was a front-engined car and a stripped-out racer.

    First kinda poor review of the Mclaren 600LT; maybe the tire pressures were off? If not, then the disparity of the tire size front to rear, in the Mclaren may be the issue.

    This is the first negative review I’ve heard about both cars. I think they might be fussing over nothing really. The numbers both of these cars put out on the track and especially the huracan should speak for it self on how well it drives

    Hard to believe two blokes could make those two cars appear so boring. Driving slowly with one hand while talking in a monotone on a walkie-talkie never seemed so pointless. But even when they put them down the cars didn't look to go any faster. Hands down the worst "professional" review I've almost watched, as I couldn't get to the end.

    • @Notha320

      @@icydelight3693 Because I think the 570s would be a competitor to the Huracan Evo and the LT to the Perfomante, but I guess it makes sense when looking at power figures and price, maybe.

    • @icydelight3693
      @icydelight3693 5 лет назад +1

      @@Notha320 yes and also track performance. The Huracan Performante and the 720s are very close in laptimes (the 720s is more powerful, but the Lambo is more track oriented). Same for the Evo and 600LT

    • @Notha320
      @Notha320 5 лет назад

      @@icydelight3693 I totally get it now, I thought of it being the 720s would compete against the Aventador as they are the 'older siblings' of the 570s and Huracan. And then thought track focused derivatives the 600LT and Performante, would be competitors too.
