I just happened to have found them just rummaging thru youtube and they absolutely rock! I hope they get the chance to tour north america and I agree with your assessment of Jennifer's voice! She has this warrior spirit and energy that resonates thru the crowd!!!!!
You guys are so entertaining with your reactions. I get the vibes. Keep it up! Well done! Lovebites and AD Infinitum amongst many........are shining as we speak. Just subscribed!! PEACE
😆 🤣 8 weeks late in finding this. I'm one of the guys that recommended Nightwish to you and just wanted to say that Jennifer has the stamp of approval from Floor!! I've seen them once before here in London on a double header with Amaranthe. Beyond the Black are strangely ignored by many reactors for some reason so I was happy to see you getting around to them. 'Hallelujah' live in Japan gives you the all important live feel as does Nightwish etc. 'Winter is Coming' video - take care of yourselves 😊
Couple of thoughts/observations. First things first, kudos on the Dream Theater hat. Good taste. ;) Now, on to the task at hand. I'm a huge BtB fan...so I might be a little biased. As of last Friday, I've now seen them 14 times in concert. BtB kicked off their current tour last week...and the title of the tour? You might see this coming...but, it's "Dancing In The Dark". And to take it to the next level, "Dancing In The Dark" is the song that they used to kick off their set...but, slightly different. Kicking things off, they had all four musicians playing the drum parts on their own individual drums. It was amazing. And, Jennifer's entrance started off with her playing her own drum on a smaller stage in the center of the venue and then walking up through the center of the crowd. Here's a link to a fan-created video on this song from that show - ruclips.net/video/VDJLXL8dLNE/видео.html Vocally, Jennifer can sang...not just sing, but sang. And Chris, the growling guitarist, when he's not growling, his vocals complement Jennifer's vocals really well. As far as recommendations go, you really can't go wrong with anything that BtB has put out. But, keeping it live, I'd throw out (recorded on the same tour as this video was)... Reincarnation - ruclips.net/video/l-8genNnN4Q/видео.html Wounded Healer (ft, Elize Ryd of Amaranthe) - ruclips.net/video/97bMOARzr0w/видео.html And if you *REALLY* want to dance, there is only one BtB song... Jenny had her first performance at the age of 4 with her mother's church choir. She herself says 5 years because she appears there under her own name. Together with her brother, she founded a school band at the age of 9 and won a state prize. At the same time, she appears at casting shows. The girl pop band Saphir emerged from this in 2010. The following year it collapsed due to lack of success and strife. Jennifer says: It wasn't a good idea to put 4 puppeteering girls on a tour bus. When she turns 18, Saphir's manager offers her a contract for a project of her choice. As if signed, only the band name exists and that it should be symphonic metal. There is no song and no other band member. Jenny justifies her choice of style by saying that anything can be done in metal. For her, the band name means that there is light behind the darkness. BtB made their first public appearance in 2014 at the Wacken Open Air. The organizers only hired them because of the demos. By the time they give their concert, the first LP has already been released and the beginners' tent is too small for the visitors. In 2016 Jenny changed labels. The band obviously finds the risk too high and is canceling completely. Shortly before the booked tour, she no longer has a band and has to put it together again in a short time. They are still the members today, except for one guitarist who was not replaced. Their first LP reached number 12 in the German charts, the following four reached 2-5. Jenny's voice is not talented, but lifelong training brings out the maximum possible and beats many more talented singers. BEYOND THE BLACK - Hallelujah (Live) | Napalm Records
Checkout "Is there anybody out there" I guarantee once you hear it you will be humming the line "Is there anybody out there" for days

Love this band. Although I am German myself I only found them a couple of month ago. They deserve so much more recognition.
they play each time on wacken what more do you want?
BTB is probably my favorite band right now, and this song is just one of their dozens of "bangers'. Glad you liked them!

Two of my favourites by them is "Lost in forever" (which is an older one) and "Wounded healer" with Elize from Amaranthe!
