I love this show, but they seemed to shift in season 2 from being more family and home based to Hawaiian trips and midlife crisises. Sad, this program had such potential.
I was just going to say how, last season, their biggest concerns were if Kris could go to a rock concert in San Fran, if David could get Arthur to win a dog show, and if Molly would be invited to a party. Now they're involved with murderous Hawaiin diamond smugglers and kidnapped by car thieves. Shark jump!
That radio reminded me of a little trick I found out. The Dutch police's walkie-talkies were just below 87MHz. So when you for a normal radio and you compressed the coil, it would tune the oscillator circuit down. And you could listen in on them. I made a couple of hundred by modding people’s radio 😂All the more ironic that I got arrested for suspicion of dealing drugs… when I was dealing “dirty sex tapes”, that my friend and I recorded from those sex lines which we would call for free by phreaking (phone hacking) and the modified radios. I guess having a kid in a red sweatshirt and a blue backpack, standing in the middle of the square next to the highschool, 3 times a week, drew a bit too much attention. The worst part was, that in my backpack was a car stereo that I had modified and that was going to be picked up and 3 “sexy tapes”. That car radio was the big thing, after they didn’t find drugs on me or in the bag. And me explaining why I had a car stereo and modified it to listen in on the cops didn't also seem to be a bright idea 😂 So when my mum came in for interrogation, I just said I refurbished the car stereo for a guy, who was coming to pick it up and pay my 25 guilders (which was a more politically correct truth). I think they may have check the radio if it was stolen, I don’t know. Charges were never pressed. Pffff 😅 Yeah us GenX kids were enterprising creative little monsters. That’s what you get when you need to remind parents that’s 10pm and “where their children are” 😂Although I had a stay at home mum, who was always on to me. Man, I was grounded so much. And even smacked a couple of times. But I still adore the old folks, and glad they are both still around.
I love Gus' story about his parents at the end so much. "Come. Grow old with me. The best is yet to come." Such a beautiful poem.
I like Gus and Mr. Caplan on Our house. They show everyone what friendship is all about.
This looks like a really good show.
I've said it before, but I will say it again... Mr.Caplan was my favourite character in this show. He was cool.
*Kaplan
I apologise. Yes, you're right. Mr. KAPLAN was really cool. And here's a other reason to sY that again, in correction. 😏
@@staurtsharman2299 sorry to sound like Grammar Police.
He's a character!
Mr. Kaplan and Gus were kinda like Oscar and Felix.
Mike, from Over The Top.

That Hawaii episode was crazy!
A 1987 LeBaron convertible is not a $25,,000 car 😂😂😂

Thank you. Can’t wait to see the rest.
David in this episode
This was a little over the top of an episode. But it was exciting.
Funny you say that, because Mike from Over The Top, the movie, was in this ep.😂😂😂
