I'm so happy that you were able to visit Cyprus! I was born there in 1974 (my father is now retired from the US Navy). We were evacuated when I was 3-months old, during the Turkish/Cypriot war. I always tell everyone I would love to visit there someday.
I’d love to, it just depends on the trip. When I’m traveling with others, I feel rude vlogging, as if I’m taking them away from them or from our plans, just to set up the shot! But they are the videos I prefer to make!
I know travelers are not supposed to have favourites but I loved when you refer to this is your favorite spot thus far. Cypriots are some of my favourite people on the planet. They are welcoming, the history is vast and the weather is almost always paradise. I'm also glad you were able to avoid the airport delays with the exodus from Lebanon . I had once worked in a refugee camp in Lebanon and the people were so genuine and calm considering they had lost so much. Now, as War has once again affected the mideast, Cyprus remains steadfast and a destination all history buffs should visit when in the region.

Thank you! The plan is always to make them, but when I travel with others, I feel like I’m taking time out of their trip by filming- so I try to do it on solo trips! But I’ll try to do it on my next trip, if it’s safe enough to film!
Your trip looked amazing! But I could never do that by myself. I have too many anxiety issues. The whole time I’m thinking, where is the bathroom, what if you break down, what if you had a medical emergency , how would help even find you. 🤪
Yes Yes Yes!!!!! I’m so envious that she can do this type of traveling on her own! I’d be thinking the same things….plus as I get older, I think more and more about safety; is the area, hotel, roads, etc etc safe. I’m too much of a worrier/over-thinker to ever do this kind of traveling. So I’ll live vicariously through her videos/vlogs!!!!

Cyprus looked beautiful. I loved the first dive you took with all the cool statues under water. How do you get all those beautiful posed shots of yourself?
Are you a certified SCUBA diver? I know nothing about this stuff! Are tours at depths that don't require certification and they can just teach people on the spot?
I am certified! But Cyprus is a great place to do a “discovery” dive or even get certified! I got certified in the Maldives with a 4 day course (doing the theory/testing online before)
