Never use oil as it will destroy the rubber dust protector. Only use the caliper grease from TVS Girling (Rs 12 for one sachet which can be used for all the wheels) not ordinary grease from the same company or others. It has to be silicon grease and only silicon grease. If using the aluminum film as shown here, make sure that it covers the circumference of the guide pin and hence you might need thinner gauge film made up of steel or brass. The shear( tearing force) force of braking is transmitted to this guide pin and hence it is better to get new caliper pins for about Rs 180 per wheel assembly.

It is available for the Tata Manza at Ernakulam, Kerala, India for Rs 180 for two pins and this is what is going strong in my Chevy Cruze for the past 10 years without the slightest rattle. It now costs Rs 260. The first batch of Chevy Cruze in India had a horribly concocted pin due to poor metallurgy. The Chevy Cruze original stuff was about Rs1200 I think about 10 years ago for 1 caliper assembly.

I have changed the pin but noise is still the same..i think the pin bore/hole is a bit wider..is there any replacement part of this caliper holder?..
@@largo3358 you have to get oversize girth/thickness pin and take to a precision lathe along with your caliper assembly to grind the circumference of the pin for a good fit.

Usefull
Aluminium sheet is too soft, it will deform and seize pins in the holes. Please use steel or brass sheets.

Use pepsicola and moto oil for slide caliper??? I recoment use rubber O ring for slide caliper × use CRC grease brake . Tks and Rgd.

bro this will ruin the inner portion of caliper where guide pin slides... And that same problem will appear after some time. according to vehicle kms.. And in replacement u have to change the whole caliper..

@@ricjaredpabico340 You have to check which car's pins fit in the bore of your car's callipers because oversized pins are not manufactured by companies for a particular car dedicatedly .
You can find them easily at any scrap car parts shops.
Just get machine shop make bigger pin my bro. This quality not reliable.
