I am so spent!! My dad has dementia and it's been stressful helping him and going to work when my mom can take over. Now I'm freeeeeeeeee to get my Let's Read in!!!! Joel is my hero!!
I'm sorry you're in that position, but I think if your father was of clear/sound mind, he would deeply appreciate you. Be proud of yourself... many people wouldn't (Like your mom) step in to help. You're a good person.
Not to mention that many of the ones we do know about, we can't contact, because we might introduce diseases to them that they won't be able to handle,
I love listening to these stories. I work in a hotel overnight in New York City out in Manhattan, especially subways scary stories or hotel horror stories. It does get creepier the fact that I work all alone from 11pm to 7am.
That was the one that made my blood freeze! Can you even imagine being in that situation?! I live in the south.. I like being able to get to a city within 30 minutes yet going home to the tranquility of my small piece of nature. Best of both worlds
Let's Read has been absolutely instrumental in my recovering from a concussion. Thank you for having a nice reading voice and not playing background music. I am now hooked and will continue to listen!
I listen to relax and fall asleep and like listening to a calm, soothing voice. Anything other than nature sounds in the background not only distracts me but makes me feel tense. I'm thankful Let's Read doesn't add any background music or sound effects like so many of my other favorites have. I've stopped listening to them.
You'll be ok lol. Mind your business, don't tell anyone your business and don't be outside in certain areas after 12-2 am. (Just what someone told me when I moved to NYC)
Ok I gotta pause the video for a sec. If i see a figure of a person thats wheezing in the corner of my room at 4 in the morning, you can bet your azz im waking my husband up, and probably all the neighbors too 😂😂😂
Great entertainment - good stories. I continue to love the sound of your reading voice. However, I almost spat out my own coffee at the end when you said "Remember, always butt chug your coffee enema"! You're a hoot!
Ahhh that’s what I needed relaxing with my comfy mink blankets and listening to The king Of Night Stories ♥️👑Joel🤗 11:30pm Victoria Australia 😊🥰👌🏻👍🏻🙌🏻👏🏻🌝💫🌟✨
My dad was there when it happened and he was never the same afterwards either. He inhaled alot of that cancerous smoke too. He died a few years ago from a heart attack. Horrible stuff.
@@lydiapetra1211 Well, i was only 19 and considering i watched him die in front of me... You don't ever get over it. I never had a panic attack before in my life and i think i had one every 5 minutes for 3 months straight afterwards. It's been 7 years ( how has it already been 7 years wow) and if i think about it at all i just get so upset/angry. You just have to block those thoughts out of your mind so that you can continue onward.
@@dannylaza1326 Iam so sorry....as a young man to witness that and lost your dad so young is very devastating..... May God comfort you and heal you!! I can't believe that today is the 19th anniversary of 9/11...I still remember getting into the office early and my sister calling me to turn the TV on because something terrible has happened and we were glued to the TV and cried...
Its funny they call it urban exploration instead of breaking and entering. Its shocking how they brag about trespassing like its just not a big deal. I wonder how many of those tools end up buried in the woods?
Story 3: gave me a new prespective on my upper storey apartment. Imagine being trapped so high in the air with no where to go. I always thought I had the upper hand as this is my home terf and paper thin walls can finally be useful in a situation like this. Being paranoid helps, you have little contingency plans: weapons within reach, ways to contact the neighbors, out numbering them, or pushing the smoke alarm to disorient them. Story 4 is very intriguing, I'd like to know the source: is it a reddit post, a submitted story by a subscriber? Story 5: always trust your gut, and if someone is giving you off vibes, don't be polite about it. Manners often get you killed. Story 6: sounds like how a normal person would deal with this, my nosy ass would want details and call the cops at the sign of my shed being broken into repeatedly, you can't really report the black car, since "it's just driving by."
Story #1 Eric gets shot. Story #2 Did you take pictures? Carry guns next time. So cops just the locals having some fun, huh? Won't do you any harm, huh? Story #5 Lewis and Tito get shot. Well if you want the house and land back talk to the dude up the way. We are renting the cabin from him.

I’m so happy I found this with a darker background so I can sleep while I’m listening to these wonderful stories that you narrate thank you
It's just amazing to me that there are people out there dead set on making others miserable. I'll just never get used to that fact.

The owl mask story ... probably should’ve got the license plate when driving with the cop

Why do people snoop around like small cabins and buildings that clearly don't belong to them then act like victims once they get scared smh pathetic.
