Mario is from Brooklyn, NYC and in the original games as well as the tv shows from the 80’s and 90’s was depicted and portrayed as an Italian American guy in his 30’s that lives in NYC. So he has an Italian accent but it’s more of a Brooklyn accent as opposed to a very thick, stereotypical Italian accent. Here’s my prediction on the story: that power star isn’t the “one piece” it’s the final star he needed in order to do something? It doesn’t really seem like his plan is to kidnap princess peach in this movie. Mario and Luigi were both plumbers that got sucked into the mushroom kingdom, but were split up, with Mario being warped to the mushroom kingdom, while Luigi is probably in bowser’s. I think that princess peach is already captured but it isn’t bowsers full motive, but it’s the incentive for mario to go and fight bowser. The toad will be the comic relief with mario rather than it being Luigi, and Luigi will have his own subplot until the two brothers reconnect in the end to take down bowser together and save the mushroom kingdom and princess peach
Idk I do think Jack Black is doing a Bowser, like he doesn't really sound like this in real life and it's not like he sounds like Po from Kung Fu Panda either
I think why everbody thinks that Mario look a bit like Fix it Felix is because disney probably took inspiration from Luigi and Mario (Big ears and nose, chubby cheeks etc). So it's more like Felix looks like Mario not that Mario looks like Felix
I JUST TOOK IN THE IDEA OF CHARLES MARTINET TO BE IN THE REAL WORLD BECAUSE FOR SOME REASON I FOUND HIM WHEN I LOOKED FOR "CAST", OMG THIS WOULD BE SO AWESOME

Omg he is so right, I actually loved this moovie like it was so cool , like remember when peach is kidnaped like that’s so epic!!
15:02 To the person that says they should do it in the Muppets style, I fully agree with you! Maybe not a movie, do a miniseries or a TV special.
His reaction to Toad was so wholesome! 😄
Miyamoto sounds just like Sakurai.
That's crazy.
They gotta do The Mario Bros. Show treatment in the beginning, they HAVE to
This was literally just Ninja’s walk and Reggie’s walk all over again
I had the same exact response. The whiplash of the two actor bits was WILD. Jackblack=real dude Chrisprat=like jeepers, scoob
They converted Coney hes a big fan now
Calling it now. There will be a Mario/Sonic crossover movie in the future if not the near future.
Idk I do think Jack Black is doing a Bowser, like he doesn't really sound like this in real life and it's not like he sounds like Po from Kung Fu Panda either
It would be so hype if the movie started with a 10 minute presentation from Miyamoto about a trailer for a new Fire Emblem or something.
Should use coneys high pitched voice as toad
this teaser trailer tells us nothing and i reject all opinions. love ya coney
The potential of Mario when he's not on a calculator
I rlly like toadbert and toadsworth, I miss those two!
Jack was also in the old Pitfall commercial as a kid.
This man is so hyped for the first animated Mario movie, he forgot he had a daughter to use as an excuse to go.
Calling it, martinet cameo is gonna be wario/waluigi
I wouldn't be surprised if they're introduced in the "real world" part and then fall into the pipe in like a post credit scene to set up a sequel
Mario is almost 40? Damn I'm old.
Mario DOES remind me of Fix it Felix too lol
I'm betting Charles Martinet is going to be Dr. Mario as Mario and Luigi's father or grandfather.
Sadly Miyamoto absolutely hates any kind of Toad Differentiation and all of Thousand Year Door.
Can't wait for the bingo board, we gotta have a Mario movie edition
Tbh I can see why Chris was acting a little weird, he must be under some pressure from getting marios voice right.
Peach looks cute!
Also this is a stretch but imma say it anyway..
When Mario gets launch out of the pipe, he yells in the same time as the tone. The 6th beat he yells in the same octave.
Big stretch that's what I noticed.
I wouldn't be upset with a Toad Dance Party
Damn...
My favorite streamer Coney is RACIST against all toads that aren't RED TOAD??
As a Yellow Toad enthusiasts I am deeply hurt by your actions Coney, be better...
Much more promising than I was expecting!
I know that when they come to having a super Mario brothers movie they may be having a really cool interesting story plot that’s Kimmy based off of different games where you have to save peach and I believe there could be some things that can be very good or bad character interactions in some part of the stories can be humorous others can be very dramatic which is a shock for something like a super Mario franchise and Mini Mart are that Cami interesting along the way
Are Chris Pratt and Jack Black talking slow because they had to be translated into Japanese for something else? Why are they talking so slowly?
