TI8 is by far the best TI for me
The combats, the comebacks, the plays, the incredible final games, the touching cinderella story of OG, everything is just so perfect
This is the meta that I love. Almost all heroes have been utilized by all the teams.
TI6 i tot that dc almost had thier own cinderella story but 1 step close enough ,but this time its true cinderella story for OG cant be de9 this is best ever TI even T3 cant compare than this TI8 , no doubt

yeah i think plays like these are so underrated.. its the small details that put OG out on top.. and that extra 1% earned them an additional 7mill USD..

Spend last two whole nights watching matches (sadly during week had night shifts in work) and those games... OG deserves this win so much, incredible plays/turnarounds in games that seems lost.

and the 11 million dollar shopping trip. im not sure if it was clear in the video but ana when and sold his talisman of evasion and ring of aquila in the side shop right before dying. this meant he had 54 gold more than what was required for the buyback he later had to use in order to complete the turn around

Probably LGD's greatest mistake was letting notail's np loose, because they thinked he wouldnt be significant to the fight.
He got rooted, they had everything they need to bring down notail, and boy im sure he wouldnt last longer than 4/5 seconds with that terrorblade just hitting him randomly.
But, he got ignored completely.
So notail punished them by completely controlling Kunkka, which is their main aoe splash damage other than es.
Anyway, good game. Learned something.

@V!RUS topson did very good in the main stage, but his finals were pretty bad. He lost every single mid in all 5 games
I think lgd lost game 1, 4 and 5 because they were strugling to end the game early (they certainly could)

@V!RUS yeah he was undoubtedly the most consistent carry in TI8 but he broke down on that last game. Crucial mistakes that ultimately lost them the game and the aegis
@V!RUS first crucial mistake was he chased the zeus too far and that broke their ranks eventually losing that skirmish. Second and definitrly the biggest one was tping on the bottom shrine without vision. Got rped and there the momentum fully tilted towards og. Aaaand Finals shouldve ended in game 4 the morph bug lost them the game as well.
@V!RUSyeah morpg doesnt get the stats when he levels up while morphed. He lost a considerable amount of stats that game. Pretty sad that an unfixed bug long before ti8 gravely affected the outcome of a multi million dollar tournament. Btw alliance fanboi here since ti3 and this ti blew that out of the park. Hard to top this ti the intensity plus the drama. Still w8ing for true sight

John Mendoza yes imo liquid 's draft is so bad. What can ck do to hero with high mobility? Enchantress doesn't scale very well. And giving cr1t dark willow his comfortable hero. Holy shit the game ended at 60+ mins which is super bad for liquid line up. The 2nd game , np is a snowball hero, but to go as pos 4/5 surely won't do much for the team. I really feel bad for eg vs liquid match up
