SYLVAN BEACH FESTIVAL 2010 LA PORTE, TEXAS

all of these pics were taken at the sylvan beach festival, held every spring, in laporte (la porte), texas. this is a GREAT EVENT for the entire family. it always starts with a large parade, and is a "day-long" affair at the beach. beauty contest, cook-off, vendors, rides..., just a whole bunch o' fun. i have been to MANY of these.., and it seems like that every one is better than the last.
i forgot to mention.., LIVE MUSIC. ALWAYS. janet z is one of the performers. she is from seabrook, but sings ALL OVER. if you get a chance.., go see her perform.
