Bro, you've just seen .5% of Filipino singers. They're celebrities, you haven't seen those who are non-celebrities, even a nanny in a household can sing. Filipinos were blessed to have these powerful and wonderful voices.
I am a Filipina. And I am not a professional singer but sure... I can sing and hit notes. I think in every Filipino Family each member can sing a song perfectly. All of the Family members can sing a song perfectly. My Dad sings "My Lady" very very well. And My MOm's the "Quesera-Sera". Those are their go to on Kareoke. HAHA. My Husband also sings so well... Now my kids sings too. Maybe its in the water, you're right. LOL
