This is cute. This is basically an essay technique. It also works for presentations or any kind of "explanation or thesis" in the broadest sense.
Edit: difficulty with speaking extemporaneously is a working memory thing. Everyone has different sized working memories. If you have a good one you can keep lots in your head and then pull it all together or move through it at will. It also helps you to go on tangents and then return to your original point. I have poorly working memory so speaking like that can be difficult. I'm also really bad at mental maths because I struggle to hold it all in my head.b

The accent thing is real. I can tell British South Asians by their accent. Same kind of thing. Even if it's very light, you can often tell. Same goes for Black British people. You can sometimes even tell if they're from the Caribbean or from Africa. Bear in mind this is second generation people who were born and raised here and often don't even speak their parent's language.

I read an amazing book about south Korean feminism. Honestly you hear so so much bullshit about Megalia and how feminism in south korea is different because its all about hating men. I was skeptical but the book put the nail in the coffin on that for me.
It covered all the topics id heard about before like the spycam issue, but it's only with a book length explanation of how truly all pervasive it was that i realised the scale of the issue. That and so much more. Most importantly it shows how feminism in South Korea started before Megalia and they're very much a scapegoat of the misogynistic backlash.
I'd highly recommend reading it if you haven't already. It's called Flowers of Fire by Hawon Jung.

1:00:00 Historically you needed to prove infidelity or super serious abuse to get divorce (or infertility 🤮). No fault divorce was introduced in the 70s(?) in the US. It's part of what led to a massive increase in the divorce rate, because people (mostly men) could no longer contest it and drag out the process. It's surprisingly uncommon. We didn't properly get no fault divorce until like the 2022s here in the UK. Which is insane! I mean I think legally it wasn't very hard, but the option was always there to drag it out. Misogynistic men are against no fault divorce because it makes it easier for women to leave their abusive partners.
What they don't realise is that it goes both ways. I'm a man in the UK who was in an emotionally abusive relationship and I'm so fucking glad we got no fault divorce in 2022 because I filed in 2023 and I KNOW my ex would have tried to fuck with me if she had the opportunity. People who are against no fault divorce are idiots or abusers. Not much more to it.

      South Africa
      Egypt
      Ethiopia
      Nigeria
      Kenya
      Ghana
      Zimbabwe
      Somalia
      Republic of Congo
      Algeria
      Morocco
I could do more. But in fairness, I'm from the UK so we have colonial links to Africa in a way other places do not. I'm also a nerd who plays strategy games where world geography is often relevant.

I was always bad at geography, but I find it quite easy to name 10 African countries. I think it's easier to do if you grew up in a multicultural city since you can know people coming from those countries. Here, they expect you to know the capitals of countries, and that's where they lose me
