Wow you got my respect. RARELY I see any reactor willing to react to in depth video like this....I can see your admiration to Mamamoo is pure genuine, thankyou. ❤️ Stay healty.
I think tell Moon to rap was actually a good call. She is a good singer but something great came out of her when she became a rapper. She came to her own and found her voice. Ahe is now one of the most credited rappers in the industry. And to think before debuting she only was rapper less then a year before Mamamoo debuted is a testament to how good she really is
during their school festival performances, they managed to pay off their debt to RBW in a short period of time. 20000 KW (i think) per appearance per day. if they perform 4 different schools a day, no wonder they paid it off easily. This why I love them, they received harsh criticism, but they used it to their advantage.
There is a Korean saying: BeList Mamamoo which simply means Believe and Listen to Mamamoo ❤️ Mamamoo is a 4 ordinary individuals who are being extraordinary 🥰❤️❤️ Anyway loved your reaction 🥰✌️
You're going to have to change it from Mamamoo week to Mamamoo month because they have so much content. Mamamoo have over 200 songs, including features, collaborations, covers and live performances. Multiple variety shows and their own Mamamoo TV channel as well as Solar's own Solarsido channel which she uploads content to every Monday and Thursday, and has been doing so without fail for over one year.
MAMAMOO is really an underdog group that had everything going against them. To become successful and recognized by the Kpop community & even esteemed celebrities is an accomplishment that hopefully will be made into a movie someday. They're an inspiration to all of us.
oh, right in the beginning this video had something to point out... it's easy to miss since it's just a few seconds in the intro, but one clip has five girls dancing... that's pre-debut mamamoo performing a song for quincy jones while he was in korea (their ceo wrote the song for him and had the girls perform it to see if he liked it. sadly... or maybe not so sadly... he passed on it, the song got turned into "mr ambiguous", their debut song. and the working title of the song, 'mamamoo' became the group's name). early on they were going to be a five member group with the eldest, soojong, being the leader. not very long before their debut, though, soojong decided she didn't want to be an idol anymore and quit as a trainee to focus on other goals. she's actually still in touch with all the girls, especially solar and hwasa, and they guested on a vlog of hers once a few years ago. she also shares a friendship tattoo with hwasa and was hwasa's guest on the episode of 'i live alone' where she was breaking her car in after getting her license ...and the video talks about that, too. silly me. it's been too long since i've watched it, obviously also, just wanted to point out something that showed in one of the subtitles from that first clip with solar... it was in the show's translation, not what girl's... but it called solar 'main vocalist'... that's something mamamoo doesn't do. as the guide says, they don't have official positions like 'lead singer', 'main rapper' and such. just vocalist, performance, rapper. with solar and hwasa having unique roles of leader and maknae. any time you see something listing one of the girls as a 'main vocalist' you can rest assured that's not what the girls have said, none of them even like the idea in fact, the only time they call each other a main vocalist is when making fun of them for messing up... usually it's byul doing it and she's said it about all three of the others at various times if their voice cracked or they missed a note or something. she'd go "our main vocalist, everybody!" i totally forgot she used a clip of 's.a.d.' in this... that's the group wheein and hwasa were in in middle school, short for 'sexy and dangerous'. on their own they were '2 young girls', which is a name they still go bywhen talking about just themselves. it's really funny how you can already see the sass and attitude in middle school hwasa there that bit about writing, composing and recording their own music is a pretty big deal... most agencies don't seem to teach that, or even allow it, at least for a few years (if ever, for girl groups). yet rbw makes sure all their trainees get experience in the 'behind the scenes' skills as well as the performance ones, so they learn about writing lyrics, composing music, creating choreography and even producing songs at the same time as they learn to sing and dance. and if they like it or wind up having an aptitude for it, they're encouraged to keep it up hwasa's song "pink panties" is the result of one of these projects. the girls had to take an existing song, use the music but write their own lyrics. hwasa used robin thicke's "blurred lines" and... turned it into a song wondering what underwear she should wear that day. and that song actually got put on an album and even had a goofy music video made and uploaded on the official channel... many people think it's a crack edit a fan did until they realize it's from the official channel that at the end, "i love to" is the name of the song and yes, they were crying while singing, yet still sounded so amazing. that was live footage from one of their concerts and got used as the official mv... several of their songs official mvs are literally just lives from concerts, which is something i've never seen before. the song was a love letter written for the fans (originally by solar, though byul and hwasa also added parts), the first of three (all written by solar) in response to the first time the fandom made the girls cry during one of their live performances at that performance the fans snuck in signs that they all held up together at a certain part of a song, the signs said 'never letting go', which is now the motto of the fandom and the girls themselves. they were all so overwhelmed they couldn't hold back their tears and actually alternated stepping to the back of the stage, turning their backs to the audience to cry until it was their turn to sing... and that even makes it into the lyrics of "i love too", where they say 'the first time you made me cry' ...the song is very much recommended reacting but be sure to bring tissues. they'll be needed
Hwasa isn't the Korean "gold standard" of physical beauty but she is absolutely beautiful, and her confidence in herself is just absolutely amazing and super sexy. She doesn't let the hate bring her down and her performances show that. It's like she feeds on it and just puts out more and more energy..
Two years is not that long to wait for a win. Dreamcatcher debuted over 3 and a half years ago (nearly 1350 days now) and haven't had a win. CLC took almost 4 years (1427 days) for their first win. The boy group U-KISS waited 6 years and 7 months for a win. Some groups like Stellar and 9Muses are around for years and disband without having a single win.
Mamamoo es un grupo de K-Pop que ha venido desde abajo con poco presupuesto, fueron creciendo por su talento!! Por eso son sencillas y amables con sus fans,😉👍💓💓😸🤭
